Last week, the leaks began in anticipation of the expected early-December release of the inspector general report on the propriety of the Carter Page Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) surveillance order. CNN broke news on Thursday that “a former FBI lawyer is under criminal investigation after allegedly altering a document” related to the 2016 FISA applications.
The press and public are understandably consumed with this news—which is huge if true—but while speculating on that forthcoming report, the media has ignored several significant revelations already detailed in the report Inspector General Michael Horowitz released last week. That report, issued on Tuesday, summarized the results

I will believe it when I see it. I do not trust the IG. Why announce the release and why the leaks???

This states that the IG report was"released Tuesday". What the heck?
we keep being told that it is "coming out soon", and now it was stealthily released?
Is it released or not, and where are the "bombshells" and "indictments"? Or is it more
coverup, whitewash and dribbling out a couple of minor errors?

#2, there are two reports. The question for Horowitz (whom i don't trust as far as I can toss the planet earth) is, why, and why did he take so long to do something any private entity could have done in a year?

FTA:
And remember that the dossier consisted, not of information acquired directly by Steele, but of information Steele claimed to have heard from a litany of unnamed sources. In other words the dossier was a summary of sub-source assertions. Yet nowhere in the dossier was there information establishing the reliability of the sub-sources—and courts hold that conclusory statements that informants are “believed to be reliable sources,” “standing alone without any supporting factual information, merit absolutely no weight . . . .”
This alone should invalidate the FISA application, and call into question why so much subterfuge was used by Comey and his allies.
Add-in, that underlings changed dates to meet information they deemed was needed for the FISA application should create a problem for the FISA Court, and these FISA applications should be summarily revoked.

This could be the whole driving force behind the bogus impeachment farce. The dems know they have nothing, but they are holding hearings and their allies in the "news" industry are dutifully reporting little else.
If the IG report were released now the "news" cabal would still ignore it, claiming that potential impeachment and presidential transgressions are far more serious.
They are playing for time. The questions to be answered are, how long will they keep up the impeachment charade, and do they already have another "bombshell" crisis/scandal to immediately take its place when it collapses.

I've heard and read that the IG report states there is/was no bias on the part of certain FBI officials. And that lower ranked agents did all the dirty work. The time it's taking for this report indicates to me that there is a possibility the report has had a thorough "going over" by the IG, making sure things went "their way." Whatever I am sick and tired of delay, delay, delay. I think the FISA warrant scandal is by far the worst (and scariest). Going after a private AmerIcan citizen, using every device to track/smear is a death penalty offense. But, alas, nothing changes.

Remember Horwitz is a DEMOCRAT! Also his last report was no Blockbuster! I feel it's going to boil down to the FBI were just doing their job and some got sloppy. The Gov't is not going to ruin the reputation of the CIA, State, FBI because they care what foreign countries would think. Which we will continue with a corrupt gov't.

There was a Horowitz quote leaked sometime ago to the effect that the report will include ways of making sure this never happens again. This was a red flag to me. Nobody cares more about future betrayal except politicians. Unless the report includes the some or most of the following for now and the future: that recommendations include empaneling a court with an elevated name for these trials such as "Court of Treason and War Crimes" so that military rules may govern or pleading the 5th may be limited or not permitted [this is an on-going coup with connections world wide]; clearly defining terms like "Treason", "High crimes and Misdemeanors" and "the United States of America" -- limiting objections by misunderstandings; excluding or limiting private meetings; scheduling trials and punishment with dispatch, limiting appeals to 6 months; allowing the highest level technical "lie detectors" to be used, even if answers are not permissible [public will judge who is the prepared criminal or multiple-personality]; waiving certain current procedural omissions which may lead to dismissing charges by a technicality; allowing the death penalty for treason; allow no failures to appear unless for extraordinary situations; allow Supreme Court justices to ask and answer relevant questions, if they are not the principle court of trial; requiring all fact witnesses including ex-Presidents and their cabinet members to testify under penalty and without delay; using dump buttons; requiring major media to carry trials so that public is informed; under certain circumstances allowing connected foreign leaders to testify. This is about the overthrow of our and our children's country.

This will be the 'bomb' that ends everything, or the 'blockbuster' that will put everyone in jail. It's the 'existential' threat to democrats everywhere. All buzz words, meaning nothing!

The ONLY thing that will prevent this from becoming the normal course of business for Dems is if 20-30 of the top people at FBI, CIA, DoJ and DoS go to prison for at least 10 years EACH.
