The world’s nations are on track to produce more than twice as much coal, oil and gas as can be burned in 2030 while restricting rise in the global temperature to 1.5C, analysis shows. The report is the first to compare countries’ stated plans for fossil fuel extraction with the goals of the Paris climate agreement, which is to keep global heating well below 2C above pre-industrial levels, and to aim for 1.5C. It exposes a huge gap, with fossil fuel production in 2030 heading for 50% more than is consistent with 2C, and 120% more than that for 1.5C. Scientists have warned

Says who ?
Show your calculations and explain the theories by which you “know” how much fossil fuel will raise global temperatures by 1.5 degrees C.

Exactly #1. We are supposed to accept anything these "experts" pump out.

Temperature reconstructions from Greenland Ice cores show that, if true, it would make it as warm as it was during the Roman Warming period.
So..... Bad for Gaul and Carthange?

Absolute crap. They're already on record saying it's past the tipping point, meaning there IS no "safe limit" in their view.
Pivot and punch, pivot and punch, always keep pivoting and punching. By the time we coordinate a refutation of their punch, they've already pivoted to a different angle and are throwing another punch. And so the colossal climate fraud continues.

PS to #5: Except for steam. Water vapor is among the most potent "greenhouse gas".

Disappointed that it isn't three times the "safe" limit.

All in the name of saving the planet. If our 'leaders' follow through on what these people say to do, it will be catastrophic.

If these so-called "experts" would just hold their breath until I told them to let it out, it would help solve a lot more than their made-up globull warming.

IF true, and that is a huge IF, since we have been flat to cooling lately, it would be WONDERFUL!
Warmer is better. Regardless of all the lying BS that the climate freakout folks claim, warmer is better, it is cooler that is dangerous.
Unfortunately, right now the sun is heading towards cooler.....but who thinks the sun has anything to do with the Earth's climate.
I do.

I've seen the movie - spoiler alert - the next 12 years (or 11, but whose's keeping track) we'll get to the end and all these donkeys will claim that we narrowly missed destroying the planet because of their great work but we must do more and only they can save us as they just proved. And that to do what remains to done must be measured in terms of USD $100s of trillions, quadirillion, ... all the way to googolplexs of dollars. But hey, it's only money, your money not theirs. But hey, they are willing to undertake this endeavor, at an extreme personal cost to them (provided it comes with compensation equal to the task) reasonable, to lead us deplorable-s into paradise. Of course, one must scramble a few eggs to make scrambled eggs. The nerve of these people.

"Safe climate limit".....totally invented based on ridiculous, completely hopeless "computer models" which have predicted NOTHING accurately, ever.
Totally fictional, completely political.

"We (UN-IPCC) redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy…""One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore…" - Dr Ottmar Endenhofer-, IPCC co-chair of Working Group 3, November 13, 2010.

Must be fake news; in the mid-1960s the top scientists said we'd deplete all fossil fuel reserves by 1976, yet here we are, producing more than ever and with no end in sight.
