Arrest of Epstein prison guards
proves his death was suicide:
Former NYC police commissioner

Original Article

Former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik said that the indictment of two prison guards on duty the night Jeffrey Epstein died should end all the conspiracy theories surrounding the convicted sex offender's death. Epstein was discovered dead in a cell of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in downtown New York City on the morning of August 10. The New York City chief medical examiner's office ruled that his death was the result of a suicide, but that did not put an end to speculation.

I don't know who killed whom, but the former commissioner's statement logic is flawed. One action doesn't exclude the other.

Hollywood and tv have beat this many times. Feed a video loop showing no activity into the facility surveillance system, covering up heinous deeds. If you can tap into that system, you have readily available video of nothing going on.

I don't know if Kerik did a good job in NYC, but in Baghdad he's just strut around the Republican Palace looking tough and not apparently doing much of anything. IMO, to think he could get Iraqi police forces up and running in good order you'd be insane.

How long has it been since the fake Indian represented her adopted state of Massachusetts in the U.S. Senate? Many, many moons. How long since Fauxchahontas cast-um last roll-call vote in Senate? Since buffalo roamed the plains. Actually, this isn’t such bad news for any taxpaying citizens of the Commonwealth, because she certainly wouldn’t be doing anything on our behalf. But still, she is making big wampum for doing nothing — $174,000 a year for what has become a no-show job. Granted, this no-show m.o. of hers is nothing new, not since Lieawatha started checking the box, anyway, and began climbing out of the tank towns of academia into the Ivy League.

So you’re telling me Hunter Biden lied? That seems to be the only possible conclusion given that he previously denied having sex with the woman in question. Back in May, a 28-year-old woman named Lunden Roberts filed a paternity suit claiming Hunter Biden was the father of a child she’d given birth to in August 2018. Hunter Biden agreed to a DNA test and today the results became public: DNA testing has established, “with scientific certainty,” that Hunter Biden is the father of an Arkansas baby, according to a motion filed Wednesday in Independence County on behalf of the child’s mother, Lunden Alexis Roberts.

So the United States has “the world’s highest rate of children in detention.” Is this worth reporting? Maybe, maybe not. Nevertheless, Agence France-Presse, or AFP, and Reuters did report it, attributing the information to a “United Nations study” on migrant children detained at the US-Mexico border. Then the two agencies retracted the story. Deleted, withdrew, demolished. If they could have used one of those Men in Black memory-zappers on us, they would have. Sheepishly, the two news organizations explained that, you see, the UN data was from 2015 — part of a border crackdown that had begun years earlier.

The House Intelligence Committee’s impeachment hearing Wednesday posed a conundrum. Better yet, let’s call it a riddle. When is a “quid pro quo” not a “quid pro quo?” The answer is … when it’s “presumed.” U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland testified that there was a “quid pro quo” between the U.S. and Ukraine, even though President Trump made it crystal clear to Sondland that there was no “quid pro quo.” So, how did the ambassador arrive at his opinion that a “quid pro quo” must somehow exist? It turns out that he assumed or “presumed” it. At one point, he called it a mere “guess.”

GOP Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, hammered America's ambassador to the European Union, Gordon Sondland, during Wednesday's testimony, seizing on Sondland's admission that he never heard the president or anyone else in the White House explicitly link Ukrainian aid with the opening of an investigation into 2020 Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter. Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., applauded his colleague on producing "the real bombshell" of Sondland's long-anticipated testimony and marked the moment as "game over," for the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry. That inquiry is focusing on an alleged quid pro quo between President Trump and Ukraine linking military aid and White House access to Ukraine probes beneficial to Trump.

What is it about Mayor Pete Buttigieg that’s going to most appeal to the people of Atlanta? Is it the years he spent in consultancy on the McKinsey payroll? Perhaps it’s the large donations he’s secured from a few Silicon Valley donors — because we know how much the new left loves billionaires. And in a heavily African American city, his unspeakable whiteness, Harvard degree and subtle homosexuality should go over a treat. There are several reasons why Buttigieg shouldn’t be the candidate to beat tonight — he shouldn’t even be a threat. Yet he heads to the Oprah Winfrey stage at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta tonight as the talking-point-in-chief.

A left-wing doofus at the United Nations did an analysis of how many children are “in detention” in countries around the world, and concluded that the U.S. has more than anyone else–presumably as a result of the flood of illegal immigrants at our Southern border. Pretty much every news organization in the world jumped on the story: the Associated Press, Reuters, NBC News, NPR, the Huffington Post, all the usual suspects. But then a funny thing happened. The U.N. guy explained that his number for children detained in the U.S. was not current, but dated from 2015. That is, during the Obama administration. So news organizations were faced with a dilemma.

Since most of this week in Washington is already shaping up to be a festival of the ridiculous, we may as well toss a few more logs on the bonfire. Up in Vermont, Ben & Jerry’s, the famously liberal ice cream company, is being taken to court over fraudulent advertising, along with its parent company, Unilever. But this suit has nothing to do with the quality or safety of their product. An environmentalist is suing them because of their advertisements claiming that their creamy products are made from milk from “happy cows.” Not so, says the plaintiff! Apparently, many of the cows are simply miserable. (CBS News)

Day Three of the House Intelligence Committee impeachment hearings is in the books and by any reasonable account it was a long and bad day for impeachment advocates. Perhaps the most startling news of the day was that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is continuing to block progress on the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement on trade, apparently in exchange for commitments on impeachment. As we consider key takeaways, keep in mind that last week’s witnesses never spoke to President Trump. They also were not on the July 25 call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – the call that launched the baseless impeachment inquiry.

As the House moves into its second week of public impeachment hearings, Democrats are struggling to find incriminating evidence to justify the removal of the elected president, and the American people are not buying into their latest conspiracy theories to undo the 2016 election. Last week, the House Intelligence Committee heard from three of the Democrats’ star witnesses on impeachment, including former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, the current U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor, and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent. An initial glimpse at the coverage of the proceedings from the corporate media presents a startling situation for the White House.

Does anyone really believe the conclusion of Democrats’ impeachment “inquiry” isn’t predetermined? President Trump was guilty the moment he won the 2016 election — guilty of denying Democrats the massive spoils of federal power. Every moment since has just been searching for a pretext to remove him from office without an actual election. First Spygate, now the “impeachment inquiry.” So it’s no surprise that just 13 million viewers tuned in for the first day of televised impeachment hearings last Wednesday, many fewer than for the Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford hearings last fall (20 million viewers) and for James Comey’s Russiagate testimony

Over the weekend, a new version came out, and it did not do very well, according to early accounts: "Charlie's Angels" ... wasn't able to entice its core audience of younger females and arrived well behind domestic box office projections (the studio was anticipating a start closer to $13 million). Though co-financing partners will help offset any potential losses for Sony, "Charlie's Angels" will now rely on overseas audiences to help recoup its $48 million production budget.
