California Democrats have been cutting six-figure checks to promote the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPV) in Colorado ahead of a referendum vote in the state next November.
The NPV would change how the Electoral College operates without amending the Constitution. It pledges a state's Electoral College votes to the candidate receiving the most votes nationwide in a presidential election.
The Colorado political committee Yes on National Popular Vote has collected just under $750,000 since its creation in late July. Over 98 percent of that money is from California donors, most of which is courtesy of a $500,000 donation from Stephen Silberstein, a board member of the National Popular Vote

Why vote at all then, CO? Stay home and let CA decide for you.

Let’s hope the Supreme Court will thrust their proverbial finger in the dike of our Constitution, holding fast.
Clearly this is unconstitutional. If the dam breaks ...we got nothing.

What if, just what if, The Donald happens to win the popular vote nationwide in 2020? They will change that law so fast your head will spin!

Never ever vote for a Democrat regardless if the race is local, city, county or national. You can never let them have a foothold in your communities because you will regret it. Shut them out of politics, period. They have proven that they are a destructive force. All they need is a few candidates to win and the money will start flowing and with that comes more influence and corruption. Coloradans, please get out the vote for any Republican or Republican issue. Democrats are committed to consuming your beautiful state and they will destroy it. It’s what they do. Money is a factor but the democrats can’t win if good, sane, common sense people go to the polls. More than ever in 2020, there has to be a massive effort to get to the polls because the democrats will cheat. No one who loves this country can stay home. We can win with numbers regardless of the amount of money the democrats spend. No patriot stays home in 2020.

No. 6 nails it! I’ve been saying this for more years than I care to remember. I’m going to add this...when you hear some jerk proudly say, “I vote for the man, not the party!”, keep in mind that he is voting for the party! If a vote is close, the Party will tell him they “need” his vote. If the issue is a shoo in, then he'll be allowed to vote against it so he can tell his opposite party constituents that he is a centrist. Don’t be fooled by these guys! Dick Morris is correct in saying that you always vote the straight party ticket. I’ll add that you don’t split your vote—ever!

Californians should flood their own state with cash as it seems to me they have a few problems of their own to resolve before they interfere in other states' politics.

CA dims, don't waste our time here in Colorado. Despite the People's Republic of Boulder, Denver deep state, and the local msm's best efforts, you will fail. Your phony little compact is a joke. Take your money and get out of my state. However, we are happy to keep your money if it supports a dim governor polis recall who has made many enemies here in the short time he has had the job. We are also happy to keep your money if it helps to defeat deep stater and former liberal governor John Hickenlooper who is freshly anointed by his attending the ultra-secret Bilderberg Group meeting in Europe.

Once again - if you cannot vote in a particular political election - you cannot contribute funds to the candidates or the proposals in that election.

The dems wasted a pile of money attempting to buy a victory for Robert Beto over Ted Cruz. Let them spend all they like on posters, stickers and attack ads. The woke people of this country have been thoroughly educated during the past three years in what the democrats are all about. Red Tide in 2020!

The Patriot Majority, a Democrat voter registration using unknown donor slush fund, arrived in our conservative state and started swamping each county with new voters. The state police intervened confiscating fake registrations by the thousands and numerous notebook computers. No one was prosecuted as they all took flight to the safety of the beltway. And Democrats in the minority here screamed voter suppression. Stalin was right, it is not who votes, it is who counts the votes.

We are a constitutional republic, not a vote it in on a whim democracy. There is a reason for that. If this were to pass and not be shot down in court there would be absolutely no reason for a citizen in a small state to even bother voting. Let's just bow down to the big urban areas and become their servants. What do they produce? Where do they get their food, electricity, fuel, shoes, smart phones? Huh?

The NPV would change how the Electoral College operates without amending the Constitution. (emphasis mine)
There aren't enough words to expand upon this lawlessness and those that would perpetuate this. Is this another part of the coup?

If people have paid attention the last three years, President Trump should win the popular vote, as well as. the Electoral college vote this time around.

Trying to change the Constitution without changing the Constitution. Why, I believe that is what's known as, "Unconstitutional".

I would go bonkers if Trump won the popular vote and the A-Holes in California had to vote for him. Bet they would immediately annul that pledge and instead all vote for the Dim candidate.

Of course! Why should those people in rural areas and small towns have any power when there are California and New York voters who are superior.
