Sen. Kamala Harris, whose campaign cut staff in a dramatic restructuring last month, is now polling at just 3 percent, tying her with Michael Bloomberg for fifth place among the Democratic Party’s presidential nominees -- according to a poll released Friday -- even though Bloomberg hasn't even formally announced his 2020 candidacy. And now Harris may be facing another problem: A second report Friday described internal strife at Harris’ Baltimore campaign headquarters, with several aides calling for campaign manager Juan Rodriguez’s resignation following his late October decision to lay off field staffers in several states and dedicate Harris' already dwindling

She needs to throw in the towel.

Scuttlebutt has it that the Harris campaign is in chaos because of the conflicts between her campaign manager and Harris's sister.

The far left vote is scattered between several candidates. It will eventually coalesce. The most likely benefactor will be Lizard Warren. Maybe Comrade Sanders. Bye bye, Camel!

I really think the Dems are going to try to rebuild the special interests coalition that got Obama elected, substituting Coupe Deval for Obama. It's getting late in the primary season, so it's time to cull the herd. P.S. Bloomberg always threatens to throw his hat in the ring, but when he sees the polling results, he quickly scuttles off before even declaring. This year will be no different.

When Henry Ford II fired Lee Iacocca, reporters were puzzled. "Why," one of them asked Ford,"would you fire a CEO who has been so successful?" Ford's reply was succinct. "I just don't like him."

Sounds like she's circling the drain. On the other hand, she could be just settling into her position, tied with that candidate who is likewise settling into his former polling position, where he was know as "One Percent Joe".

Is it just her normal persona, or does Harris seem to be drinking more these days? She seems different in public, including in the debates. Slurred speech, odd demeanor.

A conservative radio show host says he was fired mid-show after criticizing President Trump. Craig Silverman told The Denver Post that he was discussing the president’s notorious former New York lawyer, Roy Cohn, when his weekly 710 KNUS radio station suddenly cut to a news bulletin. As he looked to his crew to see what was wrong, he says program director Kelly Michaels suddenly walked into the room. “You’re done,” Michaels told Silverman, a former chief deputy district attorney in Denver, according to the report. Silverman said that the hour before he was axed had seen him discussing “how toxic

ALBANY — Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo this fall talked with some of his top political advisers about whether to consider a run for the White House if former Vice President Joseph Biden dropped out of the race, according to two sources familiar with the discussions. The discussions, which predated former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg saying he was considering a run, began after Biden, Cuomo’s ally and friend, appeared to fade in the Democratic primary debates and on the campaign trail this fall, the sources said. National media reports had described Biden as tired after the June debate and

There is a new Democratic front-runner in Iowa, and his name is Pete Buttigieg. The mayor of South Bend, Indiana, holds a clear lead in the first-in-the-nation caucus state, climbing to 25% in a new CNN/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll of likely Iowa caucusgoers. That marks a 16-point increase in support for Buttigieg since the September CNN/DMR poll. This survey comes on the heels of other recent polls that have shown Buttigieg joining the top tier of the Democratic primary race in Iowa. Behind Buttigieg, there is a close three-way battle for second with Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren

WASHINGTON—Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has unveiled sweeping tax proposals that would push federal tax rates on some billionaires and multimillionaires above 100%. That prospect raises questions for taxpayers and the broader economy that experts are starting to ponder: Under which circumstances would taxpayers have to pay those rates? How might that change their behavior? And would investment and economic growth suffer? Potential tax rates over 100% could result from the combination of tax increases the Massachusetts senator proposes for the very top tier of investors. She wants to return the top income-tax rate to 39.6% from 37%, impose

CNN reports that in a private meeting this week, top Democrats conceded that the polls on impeachment were unlikely to shift, and that their basic message is failing to break through for huge swaths of Americans. This is very close to admitting that their ultimate goal, of removing president Trump from office will not be achieved. The reason this would mean game over for the removal effort is that only a significant uptick for impeachment in polling, especially among Republicans who have been rock solid in support of Trump, could lead to GOP votes to convict in the senate.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi, amid the largely laughable testimony of the diplomats — can you say heavy on the hearsay, guys? — came out with her own largely laughable conclusion of all that hearsay testimony and said: President Donald Trump is guilty of bribery. She even found him guilty of confessing to bribery. Who knew Pelosi, at her advanced age, could perform so many contortions? Until a month or so ago, virtually no one outside of the seven circles of hell that is the State Department had heard of Marie Yovanovitch. Even the intrepid John Solomon had not heard of her until March of this year. He had interviewed Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko who told him that Yovanovitch gave him a "do not prosecute" list the first time he met with her. He was angered by her list which he justifiably saw it as interference in Ukraine's government. TAMPA — From the moment the NFL announced its hasty plan for a Colin Kaepernick workout this weekend, the questions have been flying. After all this time, why the sudden rush? Did some team request this? How many general managers will show up? Is this simply a ploy for atonement by the NFL? Yet, around here, a more important question needs to be asked: Can Kaepernick help the Buccaneers? It’s an interesting and legitimate question with, at this point, no clear answer. Kaepernick has not been in an NFL uniform in nearly three years so it’s worth wondering if his skills have atrophied.

The Ruling Class hates the lesser mortals who populate the realm they think they rightly rule. When Flyover Country forced Donald Trump on them as president, the outrage that was born of the initial shock grew into outright disdain for those put him into power. Senior Deep State bureaucrats like Peter Strzok and Lisa Page may be able to smell Trump supporters at Walmart, but for really intense class snobbery, there are few places that do it better than Harvard. At Harvard, few professors carry more political cachet than Laurence Tribe, who holds the title “University Professor,” (a very big deal at Harvard) and teaches constitutional law at Harvard Law School.
