The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied to record levels on Friday, reaching 28,000 for the first time ever, after White House economic advisor Larry Kudlow said China and the U.S. were getting close to reaching a trade deal. The 30-stock average closed 222.93 points higher, or 0.7% at 28,004.89. It took the Dow just over four months to go from 27,000 for the first time to 28,000. Apple is the best-performing stock in the Dow since July 11, when the index first reached 27,000. In that time, Apple shares are up more than 30%. Intel, J.P. Morgan, United Technologies and

I've said this before but its worth repeating. After impeachment fails, the leftist billionaires will make every effort to crash the market. Seeing the market surge upward makes me think it may be coming sooner rather than later. The best time to crash the market by extensive shorting is when the market is high. I am unwinding my portfolio and will be all cash by the end of January.

And, after they pass USMCA, which Nancy Pelosi announced she would be the end of the year, coupled with the China trade deal that seems imminent, the markets will soar even higher. It's been the Democrats holding the economic engine of American businesses down with their excessive regulations, and high Corporate taxes over the last decade prior to President Trump initiating new policies, particularly the tax law - he's not just passing Executive Orders that can easily be undone, folks.

Three years ago, just before the Trump election, the Dow was bouncing around 18,000, had held around 16,000 from during 2014 and 2015, slid up to 18,000 by November 2016. Nearly flat under Obama for two years, then a bit of an increase during the campaign as the market saw that he was going to be gone soon. Now it just passed through 28,000. That is a 55% gain in your investments. If you had $200,000 in your 401K or other investment, invested in a simple Dow index fund, the easiest investment ever, you would have $311,000 today. Trump's excellent stock market is making us much more money in retirement than we ever earned when working. That is the culmination of decades of good professional investment advice, and saving and investing 25-30% of our earnings per year when we were working, but the stock market is really helping us now.

Upset at what he called preconditions imposed by the National Football League, quarterback Colin Kaepernick at the last minute moved his scheduled tryout on Saturday away from the Atlanta Falcons training facility to a local high school where media could attend. The former starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers is seeking a return to the NFL three years after his protests against racial injustice roiled the sport. He has contended that teams would not sign him because they wanted to distance themselves from the protests, which U.S. President Donald Trump blasted as unpatriotic and disrespectful. The NFL said it

A State Department aide testifying behind closed doors on Friday confirmed to House impeachment investigators that he overheard President Trump asking a top U.S. diplomat about political investigations that he was seeking from the president of Ukraine. The official, David Holmes, was the aide mentioned Wednesday by William Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, as having overheard a phone call between Gordon Sondland, the U.S. Ambassador to the European Union, and Trump. According to Taylor's testimony, a member of his staff — later identified as Holmes — was with Sondland in Kiev when he overheard Sondland speaking to Trump on July

Sen. Kamala Harris, whose campaign cut staff in a dramatic restructuring last month, is now polling at just 3 percent, tying her with Michael Bloomberg for fifth place among the Democratic Party’s presidential nominees -- according to a poll released Friday -- even though Bloomberg hasn't even formally announced his 2020 candidacy. And now Harris may be facing another problem: A second report Friday described internal strife at Harris’ Baltimore campaign headquarters, with several aides calling for campaign manager Juan Rodriguez’s resignation following his late October decision to lay off field staffers in several states and dedicate Harris' already dwindling

WASHINGTON—Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren has unveiled sweeping tax proposals that would push federal tax rates on some billionaires and multimillionaires above 100%. That prospect raises questions for taxpayers and the broader economy that experts are starting to ponder: Under which circumstances would taxpayers have to pay those rates? How might that change their behavior? And would investment and economic growth suffer? Potential tax rates over 100% could result from the combination of tax increases the Massachusetts senator proposes for the very top tier of investors. She wants to return the top income-tax rate to 39.6% from 37%, impose

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has been manufacturing more cars and trucks than its U.S. dealers are willing to accept, at one point creating a nationwide glut of about 40,000 unordered vehicles and stoking tension with some of its retailers. Four dealers, two of whom spoke on the condition they not be named, said Fiat Chrysler has revived what’s known in industry circles as a “sales bank.” The practice is decades old and frowned upon by investors and analysts because it can obscure an automaker’s inventory figures. Yet, around here, a more important question needs to be asked: Can Kaepernick help the Buccaneers? It’s an interesting and legitimate question with, at this point, no clear answer.
