Rev. Cor Mennen, a retired priest in the Netherlands, recently wrote on his blog that he thinks Pope Francis is a "heretic," and explained that excessive respect by Catholics towards the papacy is not a virtue given that Christ Himself rebuked the first Pope, St. Peter, ordering him to "Get thee behind me, Satan!"
Fr. Mennen, 74, was ordained a priest in 1969. He also holds a degree in ecclesiastical law and is vice chairman of the board of the Latin Liturgy Association. He lives in Vlijmen, east of Rotterdam, still participates in events for the diocese, and is often interviewed on Radio Maria.

Bergolio is not a Bishop. He is a jester, and his Intent is to provoke, to question, and to annoy.
Look at his actions, his statements, and his pronouncements.
He confuses, he offends, he bedevils.
This is not good.

The Pope needs to be expelled from the Church and driven into obscurity. He is a cancer on Christianity. Remove him as you would a tumor.

Catholic or not, read Dr. Taylor Marshall's book Infiltration. And also inform yourself on Fatima, Akita and Leo XIII. As goes the Catholic Church, so goes the world.

Him and a few million other Catholics. Nothing has felt right about this pope since his predecessor "retired" and Frank started reciting the Liberal mantra.

Leftist clergy within the Catholic Church never liked Pope Benedict XVI. They ridiculed him when he was the right hand man in Pope JPII's Vatican. He was 'too conservative" according to the liberals who wanted the church to change their opposition to many things embraced in today's modern world. Loyalty to Jesus as the Son of God, Savior and Redeemer was old fashioned. They reject the concept of sin and the need for being saved. Such arrogance is the hallmark of leftists who think they can be heir own gods.

Remember the scandals of the Vatican Bank and the corrupted bishops and cardinals. John Paul I was murdered because he was going to clean the house. John Paul II was shot and, after that, stopped looking into the matter. Benedict XVI was doing the same and was removed. Now we have a Jesuit of dubious doings. Read the book In God's Name by David Yallop and start from there. This pope will pass, hopefully sooner rather than later to stop the damage he is doing to the church. And I say this as a catholic.

The US was too strong for the communists to take head on so they infiltrated us and now dominate the former democrat party. They even told us! Why wouldn't we expect that another powerful institution was being targeted in the same manner? It's how they roll.

In May of this year, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini consecrated Italy to The Immaculate Heart of Mary. Immediately, The Vatican (read The Pope) and others of the "Catholic Establishment" (leftists) voiced their disapproval. Salvini was eased out of office shortly afterwards. As with Trump, the establishment did not like the man, but the people did. I think Trump liked him as well.
Too many actions of this Pope confuse people. Why would the Pope not be overjoyed that the Deputy Prime Minister of Italy showed his love for The Blessed Mother by entrusting the country to Her Immaculate Heart? If you did not believe, I would assume you'd see it as a harmless gesture and not feel threatened by it, but Salvini's detractors probably saw it as the last straw and maneuvered him out.of office. I think there is something heretical about that. So, yes, for this and a lot of other actions, I believe that Pope Francis is not a believer.

There will be at least two, perhaps three new popes in the lifetimes of most people. Francis will be quickly forgotten. We all pray for that day.

Yes, you are right there along with many, many millions of the rest of us, sir.
I am not a Catholic, but after attending Catholic school, and not opting out of the religious instruction portions of the class, by my own choice, found it to not be the church I wanted to convert to, but a Church that I could respect. Of course, their severe problems with homosexual and pedophile priests, apparently not seriously attempting to drive them out, and from what I have heard from more involved Catholic and conservative friends, permitting whole seminaries of homosexuals, has caused me great pause.
And now the Communist "Pope".....
I think he may be the first "Pope" who is fired by acclamation.

Sorry to say Cats, your college of cardinals made him Pope. Doctine says on matters of doctrine he is infallible. That means you are WRONG whether you like it or not. I know, I know, He was elected Pope because of Russian interference.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. Actually, I admire his courage for voicing what many Catholics have felt for years, ever since their removal of Pope Benedict to make way for this Communist.

Sometimes I am ashamed to be a conservative, when I see some of the posts by so-called "conservatives" that call all priests "pedophiles" any time the Catholic Church is mentioned on this site.
First, there are very few accusation of pedophilia among priests. Most were homosexual priests making inappropriate actions or comments against boys who had already reached puberty (12 and up)!!!! While it is pederasty, and is evil, it was not grown men attacking babies and small children!!!! It was just homosexuals who couldn't control their desires and sadly had easy victims to prey upon!!!
However, and far more important, for EVERY priest even accused of anything inappropriate, there were tens of thousands of good and faithful priests that served God by serving their parishes and parishioners!!! To paint all good and faithful priests and bishops for the actions of the evil few is pure evil -- and what I would expect from braindead lie-berals!!!!
I am not even Catholic, but I try to look at things logically -- and base my opinions on logic, reason and facts!!!!
Working in the pro-life community here in Texas, I have worked with far too many good and faithful Catholic priests to stomach the unfair and illogical attacks on all priests that I see far too often on this site!!!!

FMA "....that excessive respect by Catholics towards the papacy is not a virtue given that Christ Himself rebuked the first Pope, St. Peter, ordering him to "Get thee behind me, Satan!" "
This "More Catholic than the Pope" Catholic, seems not to be aware that when Christ rebuked Peter, Peter was NOT Pope yet!. Peter could not be Pope ,until Christ's Ascension into heaven,
