Proponents of a plan that would allow undocumented immigrants to get driver’s licenses in New Jersey say now is the time to get it done. With the election over, state lawmakers will be back in Trenton for a lame-duck session in the coming weeks and there’s a renewed push to send a bill to the desk of Gov. Phil Murphy, who long has supported the measure. “It’s vitally important,” said state Sen. Teresa Ruiz, one of the prime sponsors of the bill (S3229). She argued these licenses are long overdue "because we know these families contribute to the economic development and vibrancy

The stated reason is never the reason. Safety isn't why Sen. Ruiz is pushing the law.

Illegal immigrants (non-citizens) are fast becoming one of the larger democrat voting blocks, replacing dead voters, multiple voters, blacks and folks with gender-related cosmetic surgery.

They don't pay taxes so the only reason to 'legitimize' them is so they can vote.

Man up and say it Matt. They are ILLEGAL immigrants. Stop trying to sugar coat if for the snowflakes. They broke into our country, are not welcome and they need to go home.
This is all on democrats and squishy republicans who want to revive a form of slavery in the modern era, and get the voter rolls refilled as well. What they don't realize with the push for amnesty, they won't have the leverage of deportation to use anymore. The Hispanics will finally come out of the shadows and force these businesses to pay them living wages. Why these companies cannot see that is beyond me.

We clearly need a National Citizenship Certification that will be taken to the polling stations and scanned prior to a vote being cast.

Well, if it's good enough for California, I guess it's good enough for New Jersey!

I know that New Jersey has extraordinarily high property taxes, which is main reason many people are moving out of the state. Do illegal aliens pay extraordinarily high property taxes on their homes in N.J.? And what is done with all the extraordinarily high property tax money?
Just replace the stars in the flag with bananas and get it over with.

If Jersey has, or will have a DMV Motor Voter law, most of the new license holders will automatically be registered to vote. The California DMV Motor Voter fraud goes event beyond the Driver License, to the California I.D. In my work all of my clients are developmentally disabled; some have 2 or 3 challenges. Recently a client who has a lower than not IQ was at the DMV to renew her I. D. They INSISTED that she register to vote. The parents that were right beside her could not stop the DMV clerk from registering my client to vote. As to which 'party', well, one can easily guess. So... just how many times have my clients, and hundreds of thousands of other clients, 'voted' in California? I grew up in California, and enough family are still here, so I may stay and continue to tell all who will listen about the land of Ronald Reagan, when character was king.

Show me some numbers. Here they are fleecing taxpayers. How many are on welfare while working for cash under the table and wiring money to the home country? How many are driving brand new trucks while collecting?

It's not about driving... it's about using an ID to vote. The next step dems will say anyone who holds a driver license can use this as ID to vote. Remember 9-11 the hijackers had ID cards from Virginia & the media went bonkers. They went bonkers over ID cards now they want them to have license??? Dems pushed the motor voter for a reason.

Roll out the red carpet for alien lawbreakers who consume tax dollars like candy. Ignore for a moment the despised white populace. Are black people OK with their demographic replacement? They keep voting Democrat, so either they're unaware or they don't mind being shuffled to the back of the bus.
