House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced Friday that he has appointed Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) to the House Intelligence Committee as the House Democrats continue their partisan impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump. Rep. Rick Crawford (R-AR) will temporarily step down from House intelligence panel and be replaced by Jordan for Wednesday — the same day that public impeachment hearings are scheduled to begin. “I am appointing @Jim_Jordan to the Intelligence Committee—which has now become the Impeachment Committee—where he will continue fighting for fairness and truth

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) defended remarks this week in which he called Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “dumb," saying that his comments were “accurate.” “Well, I didn't mean disrespect,” he said Friday on Fox News, “but I do think what I said was accurate.” “Let me say it again: I think that what Speaker Pelosi is doing here is not only dumb, but it's dangerous," he said, referring to the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry led by Pelosi. "It's a partisan impeachment, clearly," he continued. "All impeachments, I guess, are political. But, this one's 100 percent political and it's going to establish a new norm for America that I think is bad for us.”

On Nov. 1, the Kentucky Supreme Court ruled in favor of Christian print-shop owner Blaine Adamson, who was sued for refusing to print “gay-pride” T-shirts for the Lexington Pride Festival. According to the opinion of the court, written by Justice Laurance B. VanMeter, “[T]his matter must be dismissed because the Gay and Lesbian Services Organization (GLSO,) the original party to bring this action before the Lexington Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission, lacked statutory standing to assert a claim against Hands On Originals under the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government.”

“Fake news” has dictated his behavior during his time in the White House, President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday. A reporter asked Trump to respond to billionaire investor Leon Cooperman’s comment that Trump should either change his behavior or leave office at the end of his first term. “Now, you really shaped my behavior,” Trump told the reporter, citing the way the media has attacked him using “fake news” and “false investigations”: Reporter: “Leon Cooperman said this week that, if you can't change your behavior, you probably shouldn't run again in 2020. What do you say to that?”

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff took steps to block Republicans from questioning Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman about leaks damaging to President Trump during his closed-door testimony. The California Democrat blocked GOP lawmakers from questioning Vindman about his conversations with other members of the intelligence community following a July 10 meeting with Ukraine government officials and after Vindman listened in on a July 25 call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

In a recent interview, newly ex-mega-church pastor Joshua Harris and author of the 1990s best-seller “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” remarked that the support President Trump has received from the evangelical community has been “incredibly damaging to the gospel and to the church.” I’d wager Harris is projecting something fierce. In August, Harris announced that he and his wife Shannon were divorcing, that he no longer considers himself a Christian, and that he regrets “standing against marriage equality.” Just in case the point was lost on any of us, he followed up his announcement by posting a picture of himself eating a rainbow donut at the Vancouver Pride parade.

One of the many Democrats elected to the Virginia Senate on Tuesday is a convicted sex offender and disbarred lawyer, according to Breitbart. Joe Morrissey was jailed and lost his license to practice law after being convicted of having sex with his 17-year-old secretary. He pled guilty to a misdemeanor in the ensuing court case and served for only three months in a “work-release term.” He was also forced to resign from his seat in the Virginia House of Delegates, but then ran again in the special election to retake the seat and was re-elected. Morrissey then went on to marry the girl in 2016, and she

The First Amendment protects “hate speech.” So why do so many powerful figures want to criminalize this protected speech? Because this supposed menace threatens their political agenda. Last week, the Washington Post published an op-ed by MSNBC analyst Richard Stengel arguing for a ban on hate speech. Stengel, a former Obama Administration staffer and Time magazine editor, said he began questioning the legality of hate speech when Arab diplomats expressed offense that Americans could burn Korans. To any normal American, the thought of an American diplomat taking ideas from Arab authoritarians sounds alarming, but Stengel lacks the self-awareness to realize that.

As most of my Generation X cohorts were too young at the time to process fully the abysmal political reasons why the 1970s sucked, network television did its part to ensure we kids realized some of the pop-cultural reasons. I enter into evidence Exhibit 3,471,983: ABC’s 1976 “made-for-television” movie, “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble.” “Based on a true story,” or so it was billed, the flick starred the most popular Sweathog in Mr. Kotter’s class, John Travolta, in the lead role with Mr. Brady (a.k.a., Robert Reed) as his dad; Glynnis O’Connor as his love interest; and, in the golden daze of disco and glitz, spaced out viewers

Elimination of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the ISIS terrorist organization, was a bright victory for Donald Trump's presidential administration. However, the implications extend far beyond eliminating the number one Middle East terrorist. It is extremely interesting that Trump openly expressed gratitude to the governments of Russia, Turkey, Syria, and Iraq for their support in achieving this important goal. The statement of American leader may seem like a formal courtesy, but it is truly crucial. During Obama's presidency, US foreign policy proceeded from the philosophy of the need to inflict maximum harm on Russia because of personal hostility to President Vladimir Putin and his conservative policies.

For decades ABC and other media outlets have hidden the truth about the serial abuse of women and young girls by the powerful Clintons, Weinstein and Epstein. The cover-up was to protect the Clintons from scrutiny as they sought to elect and reelect Bill and to put the corrupt Hillary in the White House in 2016. All these people pretending to be journalists didn’t care about all the women who were physically and mentally abused. Now, with the “Me Too Movement,” we are told they really care, but only some of the time. How many women and young girls have been abused by powerful men while the

November 9 marks the 81st anniversary of the first day of Kristallnacht, also known as the "night of broken glass." For nearly a week, the Nazi Sturmabteilung paramilitary forces carried out a pogrom against Jewish-owned businesses, synagogues and properties across Germany and related territories; 267 synagogues and 7,000 businesses were damaged or destroyed, and 30,000 Jewish men were incarcerated in concentration camps. There was another sinister motive equal to the anti-Semitism: gun control. What many don't know is, weeks before, the Nazis had disarmed the Jews whom they terrorized; they knew who had firearms because of a compulsory, pre-Nazi gun registry created a decade earlier.

Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg on Friday released a set of economic proposals that includes free public college for people living in households that make less than $100,000 per year. Under Mr. Buttigieg’s plan, families of college students that earn up to $100,000 wouldn’t pay any public college tuition. Those making between $100,000 and $150,000 would receive reduced tuition benefits. That’s a contrast to proposals from 2020 candidates such as Sens. Bernard Sanders of Vermont and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who want to make public colleges and universities tuition-free for everyone. Lieutenant colonel Alexander Vindman was reportedly reprimanded by a superior when it became known that he repeatedly made fun of Americans; American culture; and, as he said, "Americans not being educated or worldly." He did this in front of foreign diplomats, constantly. No wonder he remained an Obama loyalist and has tried to undercut President Trump. After all, Obama considered himself first and foremost "a citizen of the world" and did not find anything exceptional in America in and of itself. President Trump loves America and is representative of a patriotic heartland mindset. After all, Trump believes in America first.
