Several high-profile Democrats who back the so-called Green New Deal are now apparently supporting a new report calling for a dramatic reduction in the world’s population to stave off a climate crisis. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Ed Markey retweeted links to a report signed by more than 11,000 scientists who argue that the population “must be stabilized—and, ideally, gradually reduced—within a framework that ensures social integrity.” The report, published Tuesday in the journal BioScience, also calls for the wholesale dumping of fossil fuels and the emergence of green energy. They call for a “bold and drastic” change in economic growth to slash greenhouse gas emissions,

Ok AOC here is what you need to do; abolish welfare programs so people are to busy supporting themselves and children they already have to make more, stop illegal immigration, remove those here illegally and reduce legal immigration by 90%, to stop giving citizens of over populated countries an easy out. Next, cut foreign aide to the entire third world forcing their populations to adjust to the levels those countries can self sustain. Basically start eliminating all progressive liberal polices that has led to the over population in the first place.

Trump Derangement Is

The last four years of political punditry and analysis have been objectively wretched. Regardless of your feelings about the present political moment, precisely no one can defend the quality of the analysis that dominates the airwaves and pages of our corporate media. They told us throughout the 2016 campaign that the notion of Donald Trump winning the presidency was a joke. The mockery increased as election day drew near. From the Washington Post: “Donald Trump’s chances of winning are approaching zero.” At 10:20 P.M. on election night, The New York Times assured us that “Hillary Clinton has an 85% chance of winning.” They gave Hillary a 95 percent chance of winning Michigan,

SINGLE-PAYER HEALTH care can work. Government-run systems operate in other industrialized countries and often achieve comparable or better overall results, for less money, than the health-care patchwork in the United States. So why aren’t Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) proposing something that resembles those systems? The two presidential candidates promise far more generous benefits than other countries offer. They pretend that the United States wouldn’t have to make any of the trade-offs other nations have had to make. They promise fantastically generous benefits, no premiums, co-payments or other cost-sharing, and a miraculously low price tag. It’s fiction.

A growing number of Republican lawmakers are urging Kentucky Gov. Senate President Robert Stivers, R-Manchester, first raised the possibility of the tight election being decided by the Republican-led legislature Tuesday night when he explained the process that would occur if Bevin decided to challenge the results of the race.

The moment House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chose Adam Schiff to be the point man for the House “impeachment inquiry,” the effort to create a credible case against President Trump was doomed. The overarching case the Democrats have made against Trump is that he is a deeply dishonest man and this fundamental flaw in his personality has inevitably manifested itself in a variety of impeachable offenses. This was the primary theme of the Russia collusion hoax, and it is the basic narrative underlying the Ukraine scandal. Consequently, the decision to put a man of Schiff’s well-documented mendacity in charge of the inquiry was a colossal blunder. Before Russiagate collapsed,

The horrific murders in northern Mexico this week by drug-cartel gunmen are a stark reminder that the United States and our southern neighbor still face significant security challenges. Yet the violence overshadows a policy success story on border security: the Trump administration’s effort to curb the flow of would-be migrants at the border, preventing our border-security infrastructure from being totally overwhelmed and cutting down on opportunities for human rights abuses of migrants and human trafficking by criminal gangs. The reason you don’t see breathless hyperbole about “children in cages” dominating news cycles anymore is because

Voters in Tucson, Arizona had to make a decision yesterday about Prop 205. The measure would have designated their municipality as the only sanctuary city in the state, placing significant restrictions on police in terms of when they can check on the immigration status of suspects. Supporters of the measure also said it would make the city a more “welcoming” place to (presumably illegal) immigrants. Tucson’s progressives that had pushed for the referendum described it as something that would “send a strong message to Donald Trump.”

"I always stop there when I talk about this out in the world because I want to remind white folks that y'all were running from us. This family, with all the values you read about: You ran from us. After all, Obama considered himself first and foremost "a citizen of the world" and did not find anything exceptional in America in and of itself.
