The fate of home prices in real-estate markets that have a high risk of being affected by climate change could come down to how many local residents actually believe in climate change. (Snip) Having a higher concentration of people who deny climate change will cause home prices to be higher in at-risk areas, the study found. Homes that are projected to be underwater due to climate change sold for 7% more in “denier” neighborhoods as compared with “believer” neighborhoods. Denier neighborhoods are those in which the share of people who believed in climate change was below the national median, using

At 2mm per year it will take 500 years for the water to rise a little over 3 feet but the climate change hysterics think Florida will be underwater in 20 years. Idiots.
Article needs to change the term "denier" to "critical thinker" and "believer" to "hysteric".

So Barack buys a $15 million place on Martha's Vineyard that is reportedly 10' above sea level. Ergo, the Obamas are climate change deniers. Who knew?

As Realtor I will now direct my denier clients into neighborhoods where believers are owners thinking of selling. It’s a real investment opportunity. First place I’m going to look into is Lahaina Hawaii. Then Malibu.

So, all of those Malibu Colony home owners are "deniers", huh?
And, considering that few mayors who sell bonds have indicated in their bond filings of the rising sea levels, I can only surmise they are either not worried about it, or they are fraudulently selling bonds to the public. After all, the premium for bonds along the coastal communities should be much higher than it is currently one would conclude.

So...how many people have sold their beach front property due to climate change? Zero?

This is beyond Orwellian.
I’m marked now as a denier by some unseen hand.
Gold stars sewn on our clothing is likely already in the works.

#6. I love Lahaina. Maui is the only place on my bucket list. Only been once 17 years ago but I remember it fondly.

Who gets to decide what the climate should be if the climate change nonsense is to change the climate? Are they looking for a solution or a way (taxation) to maintain the problem?
Will it be less hot if we move the earth away from the sun ...in the summer?

Ha ha. I have a friend who bought property on the Oregon coast (lots of rain and very cold water). He actually thinks it's a great investment, because it's going to be warm and tropical in a few years...lol, lol, lol!!!

Do yourself a big favor and go to Lahaina. It’s an old whaling port. I lived there for a few months summer of 75 and have visited the island many times. If sea levels rise it will be a great snorkeling destination. But that’s not going to happen. I think I had it backwards earlier. I’m bringing my denier clients out to look at believers homes. Since they are desperate to sell should be easy buying way below market.

Mike and O are going to demand a rebate, along with reparations (I know, the Kenyan wasn't from "slave" heritage, but he will line up for the hand out like everyone else lined up for Obama phones).

Under water by 2100, eh? We'll all be gone by then... we've got 11+/- years left, according to Greta and her "Gen Z" comrades along with the grown-ups behaving like flighty children, Jane Fonda types.
An asteroid could hit our planet and cause another mass extinction; Yellowstone Caldera or one of the other calderas, could blow; the West Coast could split from the mainland sending tsunamis around the Pacific rim wiping out millions; our sun could become super active, or it, along with all us little planets, could get sucked into the super massive black hole there, right over there! in our galaxy. The Iranians might get tired of waiting for the Great Imam to return and start throwing atomic bombs all over the place; or the NorKs might; or the Chinese might grow tired of waiting for us to just hand over America to them...
and so on and so forth
So who named this generation "Z"? a cruel blow.

Remember all the fuss about the Maldives, the islands that were going to be submerged by rising sea levels?
And the rising seal levels were driven by Global Warming, which was driven by the EEEVVVIIILLL CO-2, which was caused by those evil tourists in their jet airliners.....
Maldives has just finished FIVE NEW AIRPORTS to accommodate...... MORE TOURISTS!
