Smuggling gangs in Mexico have been able to breach new sections of President Donald Trump's border wall in recent months, according to a new report from The Washington Post.
Citing US agents and officials with knowledge of the damage, the Post reported that smugglers have been using reciprocating saws to cut through the steel and concrete portions of the wall, creating openings wide enough for people and drugs to be smuggled through.
The agents told the Post the saws can cut through the bollards in a matter of minutes.

Well, that's it. I guess we should give up-or shoot them

Texas is a castle doctrine state so they are breaking into our castle and we can stop them any way we can.
Maybe the .45 medicine would be appropriate? $10 worth of medicine should do the trick.

Minutes?
Yeah. A day has 1440 minutes in it. Gonna take about a day to cut through one. Gonna wear out a lot of blades doing so. And long extension cords,or LOTS AND LOTS of batteries if done in a remote area.
Plenty of time for a patrol to come along and put a stop to it. To cut through one in an actual 'matter of minutes' as imagined by the propagandists would require a vehicle mounted industrial level cutting machine.

Bullets.
Shoot them if they touch our fence. It won't take a lot of blood to get them to grasp the situation.

The answer is to have a double fence with a 100 yard 'no man's land'. If you are caught in it high likelihood you will not leave alive.

A thorough report of this problem should include a photo showing where the fence was cut through.
But, absent any visual evidence, I suppose we are faced with accepting another fake news narrative that now defines what the Washington Post produces.

Ummmmm......not buying this. Normal saws won't cut thru concrete. And if the steel isn't hardened, someone should lose their job. Bullet resistant steel is almost impossible to cut with normal tools.
My guess..... They are talking about the barriers.....not the wall.

We need to bring home the troops guarding every other countries in the worlds borders, and put them on our Southern border with the same rules of engagement!

Well kiddies, Trump listened to you people when tt came to the design of the wall didn't he? This is all on you people in the Border Patrol agency if this is true. I don't think it is, given the sources here. But still...

Common sense will tell you that any sort of borderline barrier, fence, or wall can be breached if it is not being protected by electronic sensors, live video, or the eyes of Border Patrol Agents 24/7.

That's an invasion and act of war. We can protect any border but our own.

Boy, I sure would like to have one of those chain saws that can cut thru giant steel posts in a matter of minutes.

In the past , I've recommended a barrier that includes what #8 and #14 suggested. Twenty foot high electrified chain link fences 150' apart. Bilingual warning signs on either side which show the international symbol for huge bloody explosions ,land mines and 880 volts of buried wire.
( I'll be glad to draw it if needed).
Oh, it really should be solar powered …...
