In a long-awaited plan released Friday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) pledged to not raise middle-class taxes to pay for her proposed single-payer health care system.
After months of dodging questions about whether she would hike middle-class taxes to pay for Medicare for All, the 2020 candidate made a firm promise to voters about a $52 trillion system involving $20.5 trillion in new federal spending over the next 10 years.
"We don't need to raise taxes on the middle class by one penny to finance Medicare for All," Warren wrote in a post detailing her proposal.

When will SOMEONE ask her whether everyone will pay $11,000 + per year like all medicare covered people do now for Part B, Part A and drug coverage. These aren't taxes, just what we pay for 'free' medicare.

If the plan extracts $5.2 trillion per year...where will it from? The wealth of the nation is in the middle deciles, not the top or bottom end...call it a tax, or...if you weed, a trickle down tax...we the middle will pay it. Her “plan” is $15k per year per person...we now pay about 11k. So obviously, her plan has will be a huge addition cost, larger than our current personal income taxes, in addition to current expenditures. Her decree must be in basket weaving...it sure is not economics

If you stole every penny from every billionaire in America you would get $ 2.4 Trillion. Where does the other $ 49.4 Trillion come from?
Sillier yet, you get nothing by taking everything because there is no one with money left to sell it to. Venezuela can explain it.

She's full of Bull Schiff!
Every business will simply raise prices that will affect the middle-class and lower far more than the wealthy she thinks she'll punish with her massive taxes.
Every business will stop hiring more people since their costs of doing business will have been increased more than they likely currently pay in insurance premiums, and they'll realize it's an unlimited expense since costs are always significantly higher than originally proposed.
If she likes Medicare for All, I suggest she and her fellow Democrats propose to adopt that program for Congress and all Federal government employees first.
Or, maybe she'd prefer they all use the VA system which is essentially a medicare for all Vets program in many ways.

When all the RICH people leave America there will not be much left except to tax the middle class. There are other countries getting ready with Am style housing and hospitals to receive all of those leaving Am with their money.

Liberals get away with these lies because a lot of people do not understand simple economics. ‘Taxing rich corporations’ is always popular until you find out that a) a lot of them will leave the country, b) the taxes will be passed on to consumers as price increases, and c) jobs will be lost. The ‘Wealth Tax’ is an unconstitutional government theft of personal assets that will never happen. So Medicare For All, also known as nationalized health care, will tip us into bankruptcy and there will be no health care. Move to Cuba.

Let’s have a little fun with math shall we? There are about 173,000,000 people available to pay taxes of which 44% pay no Federal income tax. That leaves about 100,000,000 to pay $5,200,000,000,000 per year, unless of course you plan to tax the less wealthy who make up that 44%. That’s $52,000,000 from each of us every year comprende?
Oh let’s let the rich pay. The total net worth of the top 1% is about $30 trillion. Oops we’ll need more than all of it to get to $52. And what do they do with that money now and what won’t happen once we steal it?
That’s your plan? You don’t think that’s a formula for a total collapse of our economy, you don’t think that’s a formula for an armed revolt?

How does the Cherokee princess define "middle class"? Would some enterprising journalist call her on her statement and ask exactly how she defines middle class? What exactly are the upper and lower income levels that define her middle class?

This reminds me of Andrew Cuomo claiming he would only raises taxes on the rich, and then raised the gasoline tax. No doubt, the fake Indian has a similar plan. My guess, she will raise the Medicare tax across the board. See? She didn't raise personal income tax on middle-class America, and she can claim she kept her promise. The left dreams of changing America so all its citizens are life and death dependent on the government. Medicare for all would do it. These people lie when their mouths move. They aren't looking our for the United States or its citizens. They aren't interested in the rule of law. The only things that interest them are wealth and power. This isn't leadership, nor should it be leading our country.

The ENTIRE Gross Domestic Product, which is " the value of all the goods and services produced in the United States." for 2018 was $19 trillion.
And yet, Magical Indian Squaw Fauxcahantas, will come up with almost three times the entire GDP and this will be JUST FOR HEALTH CARE, and there will be "no tax increases".
Is anyone actually so innumerate as to believe this Indian Tale?

Coming soon: “First of all, if you've got health insurance, you like your doctor, you like your plan -- you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. Nobody is talking about taking that away from you.” My health care plan would reduce premiums “up to $2,500 a year per family” or “an average of $2,500 a year per family.”
If you buy this, please contact me I have a large bridge for sale in San Francisco....going for a ridiculously low price and its tax deductible.

The problem with Democrats is that they really believe we are that stupid. Please get someone like Matt Gaetz or Jim Jordan to propose a bill for a pilot program to place ALL federal employees on this Medicare for All plan. Then put in your earplugs and hunker down.

No, really, it WON'T cost us a penny . . . instead, they'll rob your retirement account to make up the difference.
Of course, that'll only work once. Then they'll take your land away from you and your house and your car and your food . . . and pretty soon the number of people needing health care will drop drastically!
