James Clapper struck by 'interesting' timing
of DOJ criminal inquiry into Russia investigation

President Barack Obama's spy chief James Clapper raised the possibility that impeachment was a factor behind U.S. Attorney John Durham opening a criminal inquiry into the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation. Clapper, a former director of national intelligence who is a focus of the DOJ investigation, told CNN anchor Anderson Cooper he learned of the criminal investigation 20 minutes prior by reading a news article,

Comments:

Listening to the interview of Clapper with Cooper and Jeffrey Toobin is so irritating. Toobin deliberately mispronounces Mifsud's name... to minimize his relevancy. Mifsud is only two syllables, but Toobin calls him Misfood. Also, the Barr/Durham investigation was started LONG BEFORE the impeachment inquiry. If anything, the impeachment inquiry is a reaction to the Barr/Durham investigation. I hope Comey, Clapper and Brennan end up at Leavenworth....for a long time. We're learning now that James Baker is actively cooperating with Durham.

I think, henceforth, Toobin should be referred to as Toonib. Jeffrey Toonib.

Clapper is still out there trying to deflect from his own seditious crimes. It is not going to work.

My bet. Clapper will be the first to cave. That is when all the card will be revealed. In fact, I saw Susan Rice recently and she is looking pretty rough. I was also told that all the good attorneys in northern Virginia, Maryland and DC have been hired to defend these clowns.

James is has nothing to do with time this inquiry has been going on for three years. This ought to tell where James is heading..Clapper throws Barack Obama under the bus As James Clapper confessed to Jim Sciutto on CNN the other day, "everything Brennan, Clapper and Comey did in their quest to destroy Donald Trump was on the specific orders of former President Barack Obama." As Clapper said in a moment that will come back to haunt them all. Guess who is going to be the first to crack?:

While speaking to reporters on Saturday, Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) stated that Democrats will make evidence in the impeachment inquiry available to the public “at the right time,” if it is legally possible to do so .Raskin said, “It is our intention to make everything public that we can make public at the correct time. And we have every interest in transparency. (snip) And we want all of the evidence, all of the documents to be turned over to Congress, and then, at the right time, they’ll be made available to the public if it’s legally possible to do that.”

In the first television ad bought in Tennessee's 2020 U.S. Senate race, Republican candidate Manny Sethi is focusing on illegal immigration — and his own ethnicity. Sethi, a Nashville trauma surgeon in his first bid for office, is up against Bill Hagerty, the former U.S. ambassador to Japan. Both men are attempting to prove their conservative bona fides, a tactic that proved successful for U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who defeated moderate Democratic former Gov. Phil Bredesen in last year's closely watched Senate race."Let ‘em try to call me a racist," Sethi says in the ad,

The U.S. and Turkey agreed Thursday to a cease-fire in the Turks' deadly attacks on Kurdish fighters in northern Syria, requiring the Kurds to vacate the area in an arrangement that largely solidifies Turkey's position and aims in the weeklong conflict. The deal includes a conditional halt to American economic sanctions. After negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence hailed the five-day cease-fire as the way to end the bloodshed caused by Turkey's invasion of Syria.

On Oct. 16, 1919, Adolf Hitler became a propagandist. It would be his chief occupation for the rest of his life. Without propaganda, he could never have become a public figure, let alone risen to power. It was as a propagandist that he made a second world war possible, and defined Jews as Germany’s foe. The form of his propaganda was inextricable from its content: the fictionalization of a globalized world into simple slogans

Kristol said, “The White House is panicking that is what is happening. That is why Trump is lashing out at everyone in truly as the senator says, it is unhinged ways. That’s why Lindsey Graham is floating this ridiculous resolution telling the House how to do it’s business and giving Republican senators something they can kinda be for.” He continued, “Even the reasonable Republicans who might defect don’t want to defend Trump on substance.

Something called the "K–12 Math Ethnic Studies Framework," created by a Seattle Public Schools "Ethnic Studies Advisory Committee," is intended to instruct students that math is intimately connected to racial oppression. Students will be taught "how technology and/or science have been and continues [sic] to be used to oppress and marginalize people and communities of color." The framework, the final draft of which is scheduled to be completed by September 2020, will also attempt to "explain how math dictates economic oppression." That's correct: math. It’s a perilous combination that left many anxiously planning for blackouts and the potential for more destructive wildfires, fueled by 36 hours of intense winds. Some fear they will have to confront fires without power, an experience those who fled this week’s Sonoma County fire described as terrifying. The Diablo winds are expected to pick up Saturday

The liberal media were so enamored with President Obama when he gave the order that ultimately resulted in the death of Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden; to the point of almost treating it as though he was the one to pull the actual trigger. But with news breaking late Saturday night that ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi met the same fate, the Sunday morning newscasts were awash with anti-Trump journalists whining about President Trump using it a victory for his Middle East policies.

On Sunday’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace pressed Vice President Mike Pence on why President Donald Trump did not notify House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) in advance about the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Wallace said, “The president was asked specifically whether he had informed the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi about this raid last night, and he said no and then he added I wanted to make sure that no American forces were lost. Before President Donald Trump's press conference on Sunday confirming the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakar al-Baghdadi, former National Intelligence Director James Clapper appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" to discuss what he was hoping to hear the president say. One of the biggest things Clapper was interested in was seeing "the contributions the intelligence community made" that lead to al-Baghdadi's death. He admitted "taking down" al-Baghdadi has "huge symbolic meaning," especially because he has been a target for quite some time.

The quip among Jewish Republicans about President Obama’s trafficking with anti-Semites was that he was so popular with American Jews that had he nuked Tel Aviv, he would have lost no more than 30% of the Jewish vote. The affinity for American Jews for the Democrat Party has long been a political curiosity. The distinguished essayist Milton Himmelfarb observed that in America, Jews had attained the socioeconomic status of Episcopalians, but for some reason they continued to vote like Puerto Ricans. Nothing seems to dissolve the sinew that ties Jews to the Democrats. President Obama’s association with the anti-Semitic Rev. Jeremiah Wright brought a collective yawn.

Quid pro quo . . . it’s the new “by the book.” You remember “by the book,” right? No, not “buy the book,” which I’ve been trying to get people to do since Ball of Collusion was published a few weeks back. I’m talking about by the book. That was the memorable phrase Obama national-security adviser Susan Rice emphasized in her notorious CYA memo. Remember? The memo took the form of an email. She wrote it while clearing out of her White House office while Donald Trump was being inaugurated. It purported to summarize a meeting more than two weeks earlier, when President Obama held an Oval Office pow-wow on Ukraine
