On Thursday President Trump kept another promise to the American people.
Trump canceled subscriptions to the Washington Post and The New York Times across all federal agencies!
Additionally, The Journal reported that a White House official confirmed that print editions of the Times and the Post weren’t among the newspapers delivered to the White House on Thursday.

Why were newspapers subscriptions in place at all? Fed workers bored?

He should also cancel all the others that contain Associated Press (AP) by-lines that are about 99.9% fake news just about all the time with their news stories loaded down with Democrat leaning opinions.

Wow, why are we paying for newspaper subscriptions anyway?! Fed government is supposed to be a workplace, not a luxury hotel! Let these people buy their own newpapers if they like them so much....

I wonder if the WH subscribes to The Epoch Times. It circulates in 34 countries, excellent articles and news you can trust, find it at Whatfinger if you are interested.

You KNOW the employees can view most newspapers for free on line, from their government computers and phones but it won't cost us subscriptions. It could even be called legitimate daily research. But to be honest, each department subscribes to a clipping service to notify of any mention of the department in the news.

Funny, my local rag is down to 5-9 sides of news print, my subscription was up for renewal a few months ago before job change and I wasn't reading it often as I was out of town and would miss several papers a month so I tried to unsubscribe - called and left messages 4 times, sent bill back with CANCEL! all over it
I haven't missed a paper since!

I wonder exactly how much does the goobermint waste buying these subversive newspapers in the first place. If anything, it's a start on getting rid of unnecessary expenses. If it's one penny at a time against the humongous federal budget, it's worth it.

Cut the luxurious travel to 5 star resorts, expensive meals, high $$ alcohol, extravagant seminars, expensive office furniture, charge the people who refuse to pay their taxes & give us the names of the 264 accused of sexual harassment that cost the taxpayer 17 million $$$.
