Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) told the Atlantic on Sunday that he believes the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry investigating President Donald Trump will serve as an “inflection point in American history.”
Atlantic staff writer McKay Coppins released an interview on Sunday detailing extended conversations with Romney regarding his views on the U.S. Senate, his attacks on President Trump, as well as his opinions on impeachment.
Coppins wrote that while most Republicans have backed the president amidst the impeachment inquiry, Romney continues to stay “open to the idea that the president may need to be evicted from the Oval Office.”

Mittens, perhaps re-openning the investigation of your Bain Capital scandal might be appropriate at this time.

This man keeps wading deeper and deeper into the gutter. He once looked like a virtuous man, perhaps unready for the filth that is politics, but now he is well steeped, and stinks just like the rest of the rotten, Washington DC pot!

Lets impeach Mitt Romney instead. He's not a Republican, and its doubtful that he really won his Senate seat.

When he ran for president my husband and I actually went to a rally for him and managed to sit in the third row at the venue. The first two rows were filled with politicians and dignitaries. When he came in we all stood up and cheered. I was thrilled until I realized that his eyes and his focus weren't on us but only the first two rows where he shook hands and talked. Never once did he look up or acknowledge any of us. He did do a general wave and smile at the end of the event. After that, I have never trusted him and knew he was going to lose because he is a pompous politico and he has no interest in the chattering "masses."

Mitt Romney and Harry Reid are two huge examples of why I will never give their church any kind of credibility. When leadership willingly allows this kind of hate filled screed from one of their prominent members, why should I? Romney has no core principles, he embraces sleaze and corruption, and is a petty little man.
After one of the big store chains went bankrupt thanks to Bain and the front loaded debt, the same article said there is at least 200 businesses that Bain willfully did that to just to make money for themselves. Well the chickens are coming home to roost, and Romney and Bain are going to be paying for that for a very long time.

No, it is not.
The ELECTION of President Trump was the inflection point, getting us back on track, and his re-election in 2020 will give him four more years to continue correcting the course, and putting in place more and more Constituionalist judges.

Thank you for your personal insight, #11. That is very interesting, and not surprising, actually. And he had me somewhat fooled, too.
But Romney's totally lackluster debate performance was surprising. And Paul Ryan's pathetic, stupid, blank, deer-in-the-headlights debate performance was even more disheartening. I never liked or trusted Ryan after that.

Mitt Romney, the Mormon, is the equivalent to Pope Francis. Bad news. I'm glad I'm not Mormon or Catholic.
