Attorney General William Barr and media mogul Rupert Murdoch met privately in New York City on Wednesday evening as President Donald Trump ratchets up his attacks on the Fox News Channel, according to the New York Times.
The details of their discussion are unknown, as press representatives for the Trump official and chairman of the Fox Corporation refused to comment to the Times.
The report comes hours after President Trump ripped into Fox News, owned by Murdoch, for conducting a poll that found a recond 51 percent of voters support his impeachment and removal from office. The president also took aim at several of the network’s anti-Trump personalities, including legal

For what reason would Barr meet with Murdock??? Very strange?? So far Barr has done Zero to clean up the DC swamp. Hiring Brazil & Paul Ryan is all you need to know about Fox. Frankly, I do not trust Barr.

FoxNews removed all doubt about their intentions when they hired Donna Brazile, who has been a shill for the Clintons for decades. A proven liar of the first order, she should be home in shame, trying to redeem herself by doing good works unrelated to politics. She outdid herself during the last election, when she gave Clinton the questions, lied about it, and then said she was being persecuted for her religion. But here she is today, ensconced in a cushy job on FN, masquerading as a blue-haired grandmotherly sage sharing "the wisdom of her long experience."

We switched to Fox Business News several years ago because of Fox's tilting left. We love Maria Bartiromo and Stuart Varney.

Fox and Liberal Friends with News you can Use (as toilet paper). As with poster above, when Rush shies away from Fox, it is time for me to go also.

TV is not our friend! It used to be a "Vast Wasteland". Now, it has become an "Intellectual Killing Field". where reason and truth go to die. Viewers are taught to think "the right way", if they think at all. Preferably not at all.

FOX has been racing to the Left ever since Murdoch handed the Station to his sons! More and more Liberals show up every month. Donna Brazile should never show her face on TV again after giving Hillary answers to questions on one of the Debates. But there she is, on FOX! The other day Marie Harf show up AGAIN on Outnumbered and was greeted like a long lost Relative! Who's next, Bob Beckel back on The Five?

I still turn on Tucker Carson most nights, and the Saturday and Sunday line up is Conservative, but the rest-no. WE NEED a TV network to turn to you can't stay on the Internet and have a life. I can watch/listen to Tucker and get things ready for the next day as I move around the house. TV is still powerful with those over 50 (I am 70). What we really needed for years was for the Fox network to actually have a 6:00 news program with someone other then S. Smith (which they tried). Oh if only a US Conservative could buy out the Murdochs, fat chance.

A bunch of us out here had Fox News number during the Obama Regimes reign of Terror . Any mention of his BC brought laughs and mockery from almost any of the current Pundits in their line up. In fact the only one that seemed interested in it was Hannity. And my jury has been out the distinguished Mr. Barr since his crowning as AG. I just can't seem to get his statement about being best Friends with Mueller and Comey out of my mind. The final word on that will come when the FISA Warrants report is released on Oct. 18. My gut tells me a lot of people are going to walk scoot free. Then what?

"“We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!” he tweeted."
We are too, Mr. President. It's not that we want a news organization that promotes our side; we just want the facts and honest and fair reporting. Fox News hires all the leftists the leftists don't want. Geraldo, Brazille, Doug Shoen, even that democrat female they used to have on years ago who disappeared for years but has reappeared--don't know her name, don't care. Sandra Smith reminds me of Alison Camerata (name spelling?), who faked it until she got to CNN or wherever she is now. I knew the Fox poll was fake as soon as I heard it.

Shame some folks don't take the time to think about how much cleanup of the deep state that Sessions left in place for two years Barr has been occupied with. Folks we got two years stolen from us by the deep state, democrats, and the cucks and Barr is playing catch up. I think that when it breaks loose, people are going to be shocked. Maybe Barr is trying to warn off Fox about the manipulation of their polls? Anyone can see that they are not based in reality.

A few years ago, there were rumblings in the local media ( TV stations my wife worked for) that Sinclair Broadcasting ( think Sheryl Atkinson's show) wanted to do what Fox was actually doing before they just started saying they were - a conservative outlet. Sinclair owns hundreds of local TV and radio stations across the country and I'm not sure if they've given up or were waiting for Fox to go wienie on us.

Hopefully, Barr blasted Murdoch for the completely bogus Fox poll about Trump's impeachment.
Yeah, they claim their poll shows 51% support Trump's impeachment and removal from office.
That's entirely predictable, as, out of the 1,003 people polled, 49% admitted they were Democrats.
So, I guess that tells us we should kiss the Democrat vote for Trump goodbye in the 2020 Election. No Duh!

I stopped watching Fox in 2016 during the debates when Meghan Kelley thought it was the Meghan Kelley Show the same with ole acne face Chris Walllace. I just recently turned Fox on to watch Tucker Carlson then switch channels when he's off.
All Murdoch has to do to become CNN lite is hire Paul Baghala and James Carville to complete the his liberal circle.

Murdoch's son Llllllachlan is the sob who is destroying what his father build up! Now aided by lefty Ryan who is 'suddenly' on the board!!! Ryan dished the advice 'drop Trump'!! Wonder who got him this job? But FOX has become unwatchable for some time. Many of the 'anchors' are all lefties, who needs them!

"Who's next, Bob Beckel back on The Five?" -- Entirely possible, #8, I've posted several times that Beckel was the other half wit that made the twins Bob & Juan equal to a whole wit and the Program "The Five" accurately named.
The "Fox" in Fox News has become the one mentioned in the age old parable about the hen house.
In my 69 years of being involved in some way with the business world, I have become aware that the reins being passed on to the second generation is often times merely a delayed death sentence.
When I was 15 my father turned over my dinner plate and invited me to use the front door, since I had become "too smart to listen" and he left me with two thoughts ringing in my ears -- the first was from Shakespeare, and begins with "First, to thine own self be true and then . . . . " and the second was "adversity has never permanently harmed anyone, but prosperity has brought down many a good man".

When I saw Fox News had hired Donna Brazile as a political commentator, I nearly gagged! In the past, I have relied on Fox News for a reasonably unbiased reporting of the news. Now I am concerned that we will lose the only major network that is not parroting Democrat talking points.

Barr's Big Stick---Rupert's June 2014 dinner @ The Blue Duck Tavern w/Valjar following News Corp bogus exoneration by DOJ
"Federal investigators have ended their three-year investigation into whether Rupert Murdoch's media company violated U.S. laws during the British tabloid phone hacking and bribery scandal.
The U.S. Department of Justice said Monday that it had closed its lengthy investigation into the matter without bringing charges.
Murdoch's 21st Century Fox separately acknowledged the move in a regulatory filing, saying federal investigators told executives late last week that the government had ended the probe.
"21st Century Fox and News Corp. have been notified by the United States Department of Justice that it has completed its investigation of voicemail interception and payments to public officials in London, and is declining to prosecute either company," Gerson Zweifach, Group General Counsel of 21st Century Fox, said Monday in a statement.
The move brings a tawdry chapter in News Corp.'s history to a close."

Fox still has some good conservatives but in their zeal to be perceived as "fair and balanced" they retain some real loonytunes leftists. Shep joined the Never Trump crybabies in 2016 and Donna Brazille is in the same category as Juan Williams and Geraldo, always leaning left no matter what the topic. Trump had every right to ask Barr to challenge the obviously way out-of-whack results on the impeachment poll. Inaccurate polls are just as bad as the deliberate Fake News lies.

Fox News has been quite bad for a while now. I only ever watch Greg Gutfeld on The Five (and I'll only watch that on YouTube so I can fast forward through Juan and Donna) and also whenever Mark Steyn guest hosts for Tucker. I watch the GG Show on YouTube as well.
I believe another poster pointed out that Rupert's sons are the ones who are transforming the channel and it's been pretty evident ever since they got rid of O'Reilly that something was going on there.

Unfortunately, #25, a lot of us have Comcast, so we don't get OANN. We need a station that ALL of us can watch, and support. It will be the fastest growing station on TV. A lot of us have been wishing for someone (other than FOX) to get our CONSERVATIVE news from. We need a Multi-Millionaire to get this show on the road!

The culprit is Paul Ryan. Notice since he was hired on FOX Board the ratings on FOX are down. Noticed when he was Speaker Of The House the polls for the Republicans sucked! Does it take Sherlock Homes to figure out this guy is a idiot?

Shep Smith just quit, so after a few weeks or months, he’ll pop up on CNN or MSNBC. Cavuto was almost in tears, so maybe he’ll be next? Can we dare to think Juan and Brazile will be next?
Parts of Fox, if not IN the Swamp are sinking into nearby the quicksand.
