The United States for months has been urging European countries to repatriate captured ISIS fighters and their families from northeastern Syria, to no avail, and the U.S. is not about to incarcerate them in Guantanamo Bay, President Trump said on Monday.“We’re not bringing 50, 60, 70 – or even 10,000 people to Guantanamo Bay in Cuba,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “We’re not going to be paying them for the next 50 years – or paying to take care of them for the next 50 years.”He characterized the European response to Washington’s appeals as another example of allies taking advantage of the U.S.,

The captured fighters vowed their lives to Allah; they still can do that. We can help.

The fight should have been, "no quarter" from day one. There should be no live ISIS, they will just need to be fought again.
This was stupid.

Why didn't they meet Allah when the military had a chance to make it so? Oh wait, Barry was in charge then and he had a "don't hurt my fellow jihadis" policy.

The U.S. should simply open "prisons" in Germany, Italy and the UK where the U.S. has military bases... especially Germany.. to house the ISIS combatants and then we should just leave. Why do we have military bases in Germany 75 years after WW2?

During WWII, our forces often went up against SS and Gestapo fanatics. When things were going against them, they would often 'surrender' to draw our forces out of cover to make them easier to kill.
Some enemies should only be exterminated. You take prisoners only to determine which one has the most useful information and dispose of the rest.
Likewise, the death penalty in crime, is social sanitation. You dont kill them for revenge, you kill them so they have no chance to do further harm to society.
Death comes for us all. If you harm people, death should come a little bit early.

Remember how barbaric these demented demons were? Keep them far away from this country. Why even take them prisoner? Think they can be rehabilitated? Their acts of complete and utter brutality should have sealed their fate when we encountered them. They deserve nothing but swift hard retribution. It is the only way to deal with individuals who have abandoned all sense of humanity. Do not bring that kind of evil here.

Threaten to close our bases, even to the point of demolishing them. Then salt the earth. Let them start paying the tab for that too. Being good allies doesn't mean being doormats and paying all the bills EU.

I think part of the thinking during the Bush era was intel gathering. It worked to a certain extent. But now that is exhausted and we need to start treating them like prisoners and not guests. No more muslim meals.
The other part of the problem was Bush allowed JAG to tie the hands of the military. Lawyers like Lindsey Graham were over there protecting the rights of those terrorists over the rights of our military. They should have indeed been sent to their pagan god.

Put them in the Syrian desert at a predetermined time and location. Publicize it among the locals. See how fast these so-called isis fighters can run hoping their heads will stay on their shoulders if the local citizens happen to catch them.

We need the space at Gitmo for all the criminals who participated in the coup attempt. It's not for us to house the murdering uncouth heathens but to arrange a meeting with Allah bah bah pronto.

Though I understand Trump's reasoning, sick of the U.S. carrying the burden alone, this is a disaster.......as I write, the Kurds, WHO STOOD BY US, are already being attacked, civilian population included, the the Turkish airfare. Horrendous!!!!!!!! John Bolton was right!

The ISIS genocidal maniacs being held captive in NE Syria are not, Bush-era prisoners. Obama never saw the need to oppose ISIS on a battlefield so they aren't his administration's prisoners.
FTA quotes from the president: “Turkey will now be responsible for all ISIS fighters in the area captured over the past two years.” "He warned that the U.S. would be watching Turkey, and hoped that the Turks, Europeans and others would do “whatever they’re supposed to do with these captured ISIS fighters and families.” “We view these fighters as a global threat and we seek global cooperation to resolve that threat.”
It appears that Turkey is now free to slaughter the Kurds, the most reliable of our our allies on the ground in Iraq-Syria region, and to free, if not arm and support, the thousands of ISIS murderers and rapists that were captured, not destroyed, by US forces over the past two years.

If all goes as I hope it will we would not have room for them at Gitmo anyway. Those rooms (cells) have already been pre-booked for BO, HRC, Lotion the Pumpkin, the Botoxed Babe, and Schiffless among many others,

Here's an email I just sent the President:Dear President Trump,
First and foremost, I’m in your corner 100% and will vote and campaign for you in 2020.
My idea for a set of rules for the world as it pertains to America, American interests and our wellbeing.
The rules for all of our enemies, both foreign and domestic:
1. If your country, or persons inside your country attack American interests; that of American companies; any of our overseas bases or tries to attack our infrastructure. The US Military will retaliate with a full fledge strike on the military bases of that country; a total blockade of all commerce with said country, and the removal of all diplomatic personnel of said country from the US.
2. Effective immediately, the Unites States of America will start pulling our military from countries that do not fully fund the full and complete cost of our military in their country and for said country, a minimum investment of 2% of their GDP on their military is also a requirement of our continued presence in your country.
3. Any country that condones, or any way encourages attacks on our system of government; our way of life; or in any way tries to harm or destroy American interests, will lose 100% of any foreign aid, military assistance and the removal of their Ambassadors from America.

FTA: "... The State Department official said:
We view these fighters as a global threat and we seek global cooperation to resolve that threat."
As usual, the globalists are only interested in their own welfare and not the welfare of the rest of the global community.
