"Have you heard from the whistleblower?" MSNBC contributor Sam Stein asked House intelligence committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) on September 17, nine days before the complaint was released to the public. "We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower," Schiff responded at the time, never mentioning that one of his committee staffers had directly spoken to the whistleblower -- and that the staffer "shared some of what the [whistleblower] conveyed" with Schiff, according to the New York Times. The New York Times says the staffer referred the whistleblower to a (Democrat-connected) attorney to help him file a formal complaint with the intelligence community inspector general.

Of course, now that he has been caught!
How about the lying in front of his committee about Trump's phone call??

His bio says he is a triathlete (and a vegan). He’s going to have to backpedal like crazy to get himself out of the mess that he and Lawfare have created. The walls are beginning to come in on him.

Oh, so that was the problem, Shiftie? No collusion, just needed to be more clear? Really now, you pencil-necked little weasel.

So after lying about the spy coming to you first . . . and then lying about the first lie, you now admit that you've been lying all along.
What a piece of bovine pie!

Lest anyone need it spelled out:
The New York Times says the staffer referred the whistleblower to a (Democrat-connected) attorney to help him file a formal complaint with the intelligence community inspector general.
That Democrat-connected attorney would have been a Lawfare attorney.
Lawfare (have a look at their website and note what they are up to) - Comey cronies from the FBI and elsewhere, and founded and lead by Ben Wittes, Comey BFF - is at the forefront of the Resistance, the Impeach Trump force, and is also engaged in covering the backsides of all involved in the coup from Barack Obama on down through HIS list of anti-Trump cronies. Both Schiff and Nadler recruited lawyers from Lawfare to join their committees’ respective investigative staffs.

"... "We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower," Schiff responded ..."
He was using the imperial 'We' meaning himself only, not the inclusive 'we'.

Weasel words from a weasel. A weasel who has further disgraced our Congress. Where do the Democrats find these despicable, unprincipled and dishonest people? And the media is shameless in giving excuses and cover and even respect to such a lowly bunch.

Note that Schiff, in response to the question of whether he was involved in producing the whistleblower complaint, said that he had no part in ''drafting'' the document. Knowing how democrats parse words, to make the lie, I would say it's a good bet that Schiff edited and approved the document.
The document does not read like the product of a single person, so it is certainly believable that the democrat lawyer(s) helped write it up, to meet the approval of Schiff. All this in violation of whistleblower policy. Therefore, there should be no protection of the WB identity (Schiff?) Who was the ICIG that changed the WB policy to eliminate first-hand knowledge requirement? Yep, he should go down too! The whole thing is just too obvious!

Ok, let me get his straight.... The "whistleblower" had already reported what had been leaked to him but did not like how it was being handled or the results. He then just happened to go to a Democrat Intelligence Committee staff who just happened to refer him to a Democrat attorney who assisted him in reporting his complaint as a "whistleblower", which would give him all kinds of protections. Schiff then just happens to find out about it before anyone else and it just happens to get leaked to the media. Of course Schiff denies any knowledge of it. Where have we seen all of this happen before? If this was not all a political set-up, nothing is!

My only question is, did Pelosi know about any of this before she caved in and agreed to open the impeachment inquiry? If she was in on the lie then her career is over, if not she has been tricked, lied to and used like a dirty towel.
I left the home of a liberal acquaintance last week right after the Maguire inquisition and he was gloating about Trump "finally" getting nailed. I haven't had the desire to speak to him since, might never do so again.
