Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a 2020 White House hopeful, said on Sunday that's he’s “offended” that Republicans are shifting attention to fellow Democratic presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden as President Trump faces an impeachment inquiry. “Joe Biden is a statesman. He is truly an honorable man,” Booker said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I will be standing firmly in defense of Joe Biden throughout this process because this can in no way besmirch his character, his honor and his incredible service to this country over decades,” Booker added.

This month, Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) head Andrew Wheeler rescinded the infamous Waters of the United States (WOTUS) regulation. Schweizer told host Mark Levin that the former vice president’s son was being paid by Ukraine despite not having expertise in the energy sector while Joe Biden was the “point-person” on former President Barack Obama’s administration in dealing with Ukraine.
“The key question here that nobody seems to want to ask in the media is: What was he being paid for? He wasn’t being paid for his expertise. What was he being paid for? And what were the Ukrainians expecting to get in return?
Sen. Corey Booker (D-N.J.), now one of many Democrats running for president, said on Sunday that he believes the children of current presidents and vice presidents should not sit on the boards of foreign companies while their parents are in office.
But never mind that it happened with the Bidens: "This is Trump's scandal," Booker insisted.
Jake Tapper, the host of CNN's "State of the Union," asked Booker: "Do you think it's acceptable for the child of a president or a vice president to be sitting on the board of a foreign company while their parent is conducting foreign policy?"

An attorney for the whistleblower in the Trump-Ukraine scandal said Sunday that CBS’ “60 Minutes” had “completely misinterpreted” a document from his legal group, after the news outlet tweeted that the whistleblower was now under federal protection.
On Sunday night, CBS wrote on Twitter: “‘60 Minutes’ has obtained a letter that indicates the government whistleblower who set off the impeachment inquiry of President Trump is under federal protection because they fear for their safety.”

Aside from the emotional issue that Democrats, NeverTrumpers, and celebrities loathe Donald Trump, recently Representative Al Green (D-Texas) reminded us why the Democrats are trying to impeach the president rather than just defeat him in the 2020 general election.

Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller said Sunday that President Trump is a whistleblower who is exposing dealings between Ukraine and the Obama administration.
Mr. Miller told Fox News that the whistleblower who accused Mr. Trump of pressuring Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joseph R. Biden is “a deep state operative.”
He said the whistleblower, whose complaint led House Democrats to announce a formal impeachment inquiry last week, is part of a group of unelected bureaucrats who have been leaking information about Mr. Trump in an attempt to take him down.
