BIDDEFORD, Maine — Former Democratic President Bill Clinton and former Republican Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are pining for the days when the two parties worked together. The two appeared together to talk about strengthening America’s commitment to education on Friday at the University of New England. Partnering with the George & Barbara Bush Foundation, the university used the 30th anniversary of the late President George H.W. Bush’s 1989 Education Summit as the jumping-off point for the discussion.
Clinton and Bush also spoke of the elder Bush’s “kinder, gentler” brand of politics during an era of bipartisan achievements. Clinton, who survived

One of the greatest public services President Donald Trump has done for the nation is forcing institutions and people to reveal their true character.
While this has been the most valuable when it comes to the media, it has also been valuable when it comes to unmasking globalist Republicans.
This was again on display this week, most notably in the revelation that Paul Ryan was inciting Fox News from his position on the board of Fox Corporation to "decisively break" with President Trump.

Shelby Talcott at the Daily Caller reports New York Times columnist and Nobel Prize winner Paul Krugman was making wild and silly prdictions again, this time about the Trump impeachment attempt: "Starting to look like two possible outcomes: Trump and a number of others end up in jail, or thousands of journalists end up in prison camps." (Tweets) This is the kind of crud that leftists throw non-stop, even now, when there isn't a single example of a journalist in jail, despite their wild predictions before the inauguration. All they can point to is temporary press-pass trolling of Jim Acosta and the guy from Playboy. Even Brian Stelter admitted

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio on Saturday rebuked climate change denials from world leaders, implying heads of state such as President Trump have “gambled away” the future of the world. “In the four years since the Paris Agreement—it’s been four years—it has become clear that our political leaders have failed to live up to the promises that we celebrated that day,” he told the crowd during the Global Citizen music festival in New York City. “Our future is being gambled away, and our leaders, those whom we entrust to protect us and set the example, are either failing to stop these dangerous trends

On this week’s broadcast of CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” actor Robert De Niro criticized President Donald Trump and Fox News.De Niro said, “I think they have but no choice to have an impeachment inquiry. It has to happen. There’s no way around it.” He continued, “If it wasn’t for you, CNN, MSNBC and some other outlets, The New York Times, The Washington Post, I mean, where are we? This is a crazy world. What is going on? This guy is crazy. We’ve got to get him out.” When asked to clarify, De Niro said, “Possibly medically, too. I’m starting to think. I didn’t think that before, but now I actually —

Former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton ripped into President Donald Trump for continuing to use her as a political punching bag at his rallies and in tweets, long after he won against her in the 2016 election.
"I believe he knows he’s an illegitimate president. He know, he knows, that there were a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out the way it did and I take responsibility for those parts of it that I should," Clinton said on "CBS Sunday Morning."
"It’s like applying for a job and getting 6 million of letters of recommendation and losing to a corrupt human tornado. And so, I know that he knows that

Have you ever sat down in a restaurant and felt instantly drawn to a particular dish on the menu? The reason might be something as simple as that you love the dish’s main ingredient, but it’s often more than that. It could be the item’s placement on the menu, its name, even whom you saw eating it as you crossed the restaurant. Understanding all the factors that attract us to certain foods is a growing area of research, with enormous potential for addressing something unexpected: climate change. Agriculture — and the changes in land-use it necessitates — accounts for about 25% of

The entrenched elites of both parties and a large portion of the corrupt upper federal bureaucracy understand the mortal threat President Trump poses to them. (snip) The President’s defense in the Senate, accordingly, must engage, spotlight, scrutinize and expose the entire course of odious conduct by the President’s corrupt attackers, from their first spinning of the Russia collusion hoax, through the latest chapter in their attempted coup.
Everything will be relevant in the Senate trial, and everyone, no exceptions, should be subpoenaed and interrogated under oath. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Brennan, James Comey, Peter Strzok, and the entire gang behind the coup.

Pope Francis celebrated the World Day of Migrants and Refugees in the Vatican Sunday, insisting on the “moral duty” to welcome the stranger with the compassion exhibited by God himself.
The Lord “upholds the stranger as well as the widow and the orphan among his people,” the pope said in his homily at morning Mass in St. Peter’s Square. “The Lord has a particular concern for foreigners, widows and orphans, for they are without rights, excluded and marginalized. This is why God tells the Israelites to give them special care.”
Citing the biblical book of Exodus, Francis said that the God

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said Saturday that pursuing an impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump is worth House Democrats losing a majority.
Appearing at the Texas Tribune’s Tribune Fest, Pelosi stated it’s more important for Congress to uphold its duty of holding the president accountable than maintaining power over the lower chamber.(Tweet/Video) “It doesn’t matter,” Pelosi replied when asked by Tribune CEO Evan Smith if she harbors any “anxiety” over the Democrats’ ability to keep the House if their impeachment inquiry goes awry.
