"This has nothing to do with politics or partisanship.” That was how House Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it shortly before announcing the opening of an official impeachment investigation into President Donald Trump. Who is she trying to kid? Despite the breathless commentary about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president and a whistleblower report based on second-hand accounts of uncertain credibility, we know little about what transpired, much less whether it rises to the level of an impeachable offense. Democrats could have gone through the normal procedures to get the information from the White House rather than jump immediately to talk of impeachment.

The demonrat socialists hate Mr. Trump with every breath they take-- When they have nothing LEGITIMATE to create charges of impeachment, THEY SIMPLY MAKE IT UP, have the media create a FRNZY to make the public think there is something out of nothing, and hope that they can seek recourse in the courts or their own hegemony in the House KNOWING that they will NEVER GET the 66 votes to remove the President from office, but hoping to ruin him. The incestuous relationship the demonrats have with most of the media is going to be pushed to the extreme to take Mr. Trump OUT before his re-election and their crappy candidates getting BURIED due to their whole-hearted positions AGAINST American CITIZENS in overtaxing them ('only the rich' ends up being EVERYONE), letting FOREIGNERS take jobs away from American citizens, and to uproot and pervert the social order so they can take control of YOU. They have thrown a conniption fit over 2016 and now they face another if they don't keep Mr. Trump from running-- they are willing to TAKE US ALL DOWN to get their way like spoiled brat children acting up for candy at the supermarket chekc-out!

"Nor is any of this to say that an investigation into Trump’s dealings with the Ukrainian president isn’t warranted." NO, it isn't warranted. If you are going to support idiocy like this, then you are saying you can investigate literally anything the president does. That's insane, for ANY president. Further, if the reporter of the information was NOT a primary source, he does not qualify as a whistleblower. He is a leaker of rumor and innuendo and he should be arrested. We cannot tolerate bureaucratic sabotage of our government. What is happening here is how the dems/Left/media ALWAYS try to deal with Republican administrations. They try to define WHAT is acceptable for Republicans to say and do. Unfortunately, timid Republicans have let them do it. This is why the level of anger is so off the charts. Trump won't let them get away with it. Further, he makes them look stupid for trying. They HATE him for that. Trump should not let these fools dictate what the president can and cannot do. If they have solid proof of illegalities, let them place it into the public view, NOW. Otherwise, shut up.

Impeach Joe Biden 6 replies

Until the transcript of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky emerged on Wednesday, Democrats were in a mad fury with accusations that Trump had bribed a foreign government to investigate the business dealings of former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter. The claim, based on a whistleblower’s second-hand account, which none of them had seen, alleged that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine on the condition that it open an investigation on Biden. Circumstantially at least, there seemed to be some crumbs to back this up. Aside from the mysterious whistleblower claim, the administration had

It's not just San Francisco that has a poop problem. The verdant banks and peaceful beaches of the Russian River are left littered with human waste after busy weekends of visitors partying on the water, according to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. "You're talking about orders of magnitude of fecal matter beyond wild animals," said Don McEnhill, executive director of RussianRiverkeeper, an organization that seeks to preserve the Russian River's natural beauty. The Press Democrat reports most of the waste is found near Petrified Forest Road, Porter Creek Road and Geysers Road and Steelhead Beach — where there is a public restroom.

Seems the mainstream media are desperate to keep President Trump's stellar United Nations speech out of the news. On Tuesday, Trump delivered a far from throwaway speech articulating the vision of the voters who elected him, speaking of nationalism, globalism, and socialism, along with an added rundown of problem nations to condemn and props for others. RealClearPolitics has a video and transcript. For starters, it was a zero apologies for America speech, which was a breath of fresh air, given the previous administration. He drove a fine definition of nationalism in the American sense, not other countries, as a positive thing that benefits not just the U.S., but all nations.

If there's one thing Democrats have always wanted to get their hands on, it's workers' private retirement accounts -- the 401(k)s, the Roth IRAs, the Social Security checks. The idea of course, is that that big pot of stored savings can be spent now for leftist social programs instead of raising taxes and let what happens, happen, to people who've saved for retirement. We saw it in 2010, in the Democrats' effort to 'Argentinize' U.S. 401(k)s and replace them with a 'guaranteed retirement accounts,' using the private savings to bail out failing public pensions. It fell flat, but that didn't stop Democrats.

Beto O’Rourke has been trying to gain some traction for his presidential campaign by making increasingly aggressive statements about gun control. From “nobody wants to take your guns away” to “Hell yes, we will take your AR-15.” In a disastrous “Ask Me Anything” event on Reddit, O’Rourke got pummeled with questions about his new position. One questioner asked O’Rourke how he’d go about confiscating the roughly 10 million AR-15s currently in people’s homes. O’Rourke’s reply — “Americans will comply with the law” — was downvoted by more than 13,000 Reddit users. Two questions later, Beto had dropped off the Reddit program.

The New York Times has been trying to dismiss the arrest of Ed Buck, a Democratic fatcat who had a thing for injecting young black men with drugs before paying them for sex, as a "small-time Democratic donor," but the facts on the ground suggest he was a rather big one. And maybe that's a function of the paper's desire to protect its masters, the Democrats. They aren't known as Democratic operatives with bylines for nothing. Fox Business has a rundown: While Buck once identified himself as a conservative Republican, according to the Los Angeles Times, he became a national figure when he spearheaded the effort to impeach Arizona’s

Woke Washington state has produced a bumper crop of public school malfeasance. Just yesterday, a Longview public school bus driver who transported 90 kids in two trips was credibly reported to be driving like a drunk -- weaving, running red lights, and stinking of alcohol -- according to the terrified school children who were stuck on that bus without choice, with one of them calling 911. The cops eventually showed up, found the driver, smelled the alcohol, and made an arrest. The school itself put the driver on paid leave. According to WTSP:

President Trump made a whirlwind tour through San Diego, exuding optimism, vim and vigor. He was in full command at his press conference at the border wall, and the local press coverage, at least as seen on television, was strikingly positive. I watched the live coverage on the local stations here in San Diego. Elizabeth Warren promises that if elected, the first thing she will do as president is push through a “sweeping” anti-corruption plan that will “take power away from the wealthy and the well-connected in Washington and put it back where it belongs — in the hands of the people.” Where have we heard such promises before? Oh, right, from pretty much every candidate running for president. Barack Obama said in 2008 that if he were elected, he would “launch the most sweeping ethics reform in U.S. history. We will make government more open, more accountable and more responsive to the problems of the American people.” Bill Clinton in 1992 promised to

We live in seemingly divisive times. Politicians are at each other’s throats. Talking heads on the network news explain to us all the reasons we should hate and mistrust each other. Confidence in public institutions is at an all-time low. There seems to be nothing but bad news. Then we notice an oft-neglected holiday on our calendars: Constitution Day. This federal holiday commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. And as we all learned in high school civics class, the Constitution defines the structure of our federal government. It is the most remarkable political charters in history. This may not mean much

Sorry. “Climate change,” as though that is somehow a tragic event; never mind the fact that the climate changes four times per year in something we call “seasons.” The 16-year-old, whose name is Greta Thunberg, suffers from Asperger Syndrome, a condition on the autism spectrum.

I won’t say that impeachment is back in the news, because the removal of the President never left and has been a headline grabber since before Trump took the oath. (snip) For all of Pelosi’s supposed political acumen, her hand was forced by the progressive rabble-rousers. This makes for a dramatic coup de théâtre, but it’s still only that: theater. Pelosi lost face, yes. But the humiliation will be downplayed by her media backers, who treat statecraft like so many three-act plays. And we already know the coming ending. The Washington wisdom behind Trump’s impeachment makes sense until you venture three feet outside I-495.
