Me Too started with a hashtag, then morphed into a trend of public humiliation, trial by media, and personal boycotts that altered the standards by which a person is judged. Initially the movement was used to take down chronic abusers of women who had been using their power and influence to silence complaints.
As the movement picked up steam, private sexual encounters became fair game. Many of the Me Too infractions that came to light aren’t criminal offenses, and much of the shaming has been against non-public figures. Those accused who are known in their field but not tabloid superstars experience being

Me Too is just another prong of the democrat's attack on American culture.

I see the PoundMeTooers as three groups: sluts who put out real easily then have regrets about their unwholesome behavior; scorned women; and, ugly, frigid women who can’t get a man.

MeToo is also a coverup for those women who have prostituted themselves for their careers. True, they should never have needed to do so but they are nonetheless complicit - no one forced them to be an actress or a successful California politician. Oh! I'm sorry Kamala - I didn't mean to expose your couch surfing.

The grandson of a friend of mine was a famous, winning, top level retired ice skater. He committed suicide after he was accused of this sort of stuff. The key problem is that all his ability to make a living was immediately wiped out by being forbidden from having any contact with teaching students by the powerful organizers of the skating world. So, in an instant, at the unproven say-so of someone he had skated partners with years before for a short time (and who may have held a grudge because he dropped her as a partner and went on to fame and winning) he is, likely permanently, unemployable and there is no way for him to get his reputation back. And in that business, ALL you have, ALL you depend upon for your living of teaching new students is your reputation and your history of winning.
They are evil and this is entirely out of character for our country. Innocent until proven guilty should always be the case, but these women have turned this into revenge, and probably in some (many?) cases for some long held grudge, something which they can suddenly get back at the person.
I had talked with this guy and he literally lit up at the discussion of his joy of teaching new students, and his love of passing on his passion for his sport to new young people. All of that was crushed and destroyed in an instant, and he had no way to get any sort of a fair hearing.

All this makes it harder on genuine female victims in the same way Affirmative Action hurts qualified minorities. People will become so jaded and simply not believe them or worse brand them as frauds. It is disgusting.
That said, some clever attorneys should start a legal group for the defence of falsely accused men and drive these attention and money seeking trollops like a fox before the hounds. Dig up every scrap of indiscretion and bile from her past. If she wants to ruin his life, lets take a good long look at hers. Chivalry is dead and women killed it. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

EVERYONE knew of Weinstein's crimes.
Dem's created #MeToo, they intentionally threw Harvey under the bus, and they used their media to promote #MeToo relentlessly. They expected women to come out of the woodwork accusing Trump.
Think I'm wrong? It occurred as the Russia lies were unraveling. AND disappeared as fast as it appeared.
Recently, they got a 30-year-old photo of Epstein with Trump and threw Epstein under the bus trying to get Trump.

As #7 notes, leftists threw Harvey Weinstein, Al Franken, and Jeffrey Epstein under the bus in their frenzy to get Trump. It hasn't worked, but it unfortunately has snagged many innocent men. People seem to have forgotten the expression, "H3ll has no fury like a woman scorned." There's much truth there. I've personally known women who willingly had sex with men they barely knew, only to later decide that he abused them because he didn't call, only called when he wanted sex, and otherwise treated them like the free hookup they were. The more vicious of the women could have ruined these men, but 30 years ago, they just groused to their girlfriend (me). Now I shudder to think what they could do.

When the Left decided to weaponize false allegations designed to reduce a man to a 'he said she said' equation, that is when they went too far. Cosby might have been a player in his heyday, but even he did not deserve those attacks from those harpies.
They knew exactly what they were getting into. They wanted to play the Hollywood game, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. This is feminazi hate towards men on steroids, and if the Legal system would start prosecuting these women when the allegations are proven false by multiple sources, the Left would stop this. They are destroying the system for real victims of crime and using it for political gain. They tried it with Clarence Thomas too and thankfully that did not work.
If they want real equality, they will go after the predatory women who play the sex game as well. Plenty of women in a position of power in Hollywood and Industry probably force or extort men for sex every day. Go after these women as well. I can think of about 5 well known and wealthy women in Hollywood in acting and music who have rumors swirling about their own predatory behavior.
