to live with Trump’s bizarre behavior?

Political analysts and followers are understandably consumed these days with the grinding mechanics of the 2020 presidential campaign — the debates, the secretly developing ground games, declared policies, the fundraising, the strategizing around key states and polls, the only interim indicators we have of the race still four months from any vote. [Snip] But the key question 58 weeks out from The Day is most likely to focus less on policies and promises and much more on the incumbent president’s personality and day-to-day behavior. Fact is, most presidents seeking reelection get it — only four elected presidents seeking second terms have lost since

"Except for one poll very early in his tenure, Trump has been underwater in overall job approvals, with somewhere in the low- to mid-forties approving, and more than half of Americans disapproving."
That's simply not true. And you have to go to the last paragraph to see that Trump is polling exactly the same as Obama and Clinton at this point in their presidencies.

I don’t know about other voters, Andy. But how about this: I’m not willing to live with your our bizarre premise.
His “fondness” for tumult and insult? You’re not as bright as I thought. You think he has gotten through life as a successful businessman ($b,000,000,000) is because of his fondness for tumult and insult or because his behavior is bizarre and repulsive?!
I skimmed your drivel, Ange. My last skim of you ever again.

Oh, come on, Trump is not the first president to use salty language and examples. Harry Truman, for instance, said when he was a young man, he wanted to be either a piano player in a whore house or a politician, and when he got to Washington, he found there was not much of a difference.

Hmmm. Bizarre behavior? "bombastic, egotistical, rude, insulting and untruthful."?
Well, I see Trump as enthusiastic, focused on what his administration is doing for the American People (unlike the "I" man, BO), rude and insulting to the media who is in 24/7/365 nasty attack mode and deserves every bit of it, untruthful only in that he refuses to agree with Leftist narratives which are almost always exposed as lies and Trump as right.
"The base often overlooks the fact that Trump frequently incites and prolongs those reactions with his characteristically petty attacks and ripostes." Trump uses what works and it is the ugly truth (real truth) that his opponents ARE willing to do and say ANYTHING to "get" him. Trump is a reflective mirror of their own pettiness and THEY CAN'T TAKE what they are shown. It's not Trump's fault that the truth of what they are is so crude and low. Trump is simply reminding the American People that the Left's delusions of grandeur are all fake and their pretentions of "being "for" the People are a crass lie.
"He is a team player only in the sense that he is The Team, the only one who counts"
DEAD wrong. Trump leads the team that is the American People. THEY are the ones who count. Not the political parties. Not Washington bureaucrats. Not the media and its arrogant punditry. Not the corporate multinationals. Not even Andrew Malcolm.
Trump says “the one that matters is me” because as President, he is absolutely correct. It is HIS decision, as Constitutionally structured, to be in charge of ALL the Executive branch. The President is both the head of state and head of government of the United States of America, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces; all 4+ million of the people that work for the Executive and indirectly, the American People. BO talked about his phone and pen and the media swooned. He also was correct, to a point, and did a lot of damage because of it.
Malcolm is morosely whining that that Trump will probably be reelected in spite Malcolm's list of "unlikeable" traits. Yes, that is probably true, and unlike the Never Trumpers, We the People will celebrate it and the prosperity and success it has brought us and our nation. And yes, we celebrate Trump's victories over the Left and how they have been made to be seen as the incompetents, fools, and Communists they are. Remember, when Hillary called us deplorables, they celebrated it. She lied. Trump is telling the truth and their own ugliness is what Malcolm is complaining about.

The author uses the word Repulsive to describe The President of the United States! The word Unique comes to mind. There has never been one like him before and there will never be another!

You can assume ANY polling numbers are wrong. Over sampling of Democrats has been the status quo since polling began. The polls that show Clinton and Obama popularity over sampled Democrats, just like the polls showing Trump's popularity are over sampling Democrats. Its such BS. I really wonder what Trump's popularity would be in an accurate polling meant to measure a statistic than to drive the propaganda engine of the media.

I love his behavior - he doesn’t take crap from anyone and he doesn’t pull his punches. Just imagine where we’d be if GW Bush had acted this way after 9/11. For one thing, Omar would still be sitting in a refugee camp in some shiitehole in Africa.

I'd rather live with Trump's outspoken behavior than Warren's lying behavior or Biden's mentally losing it behavior or O'Rourke's insane behavior or Sanders' out of touch with reality behavior and so forth for the rest of the Klown Kar.

Trump is completely normal and is a dead in the middle centrist. Biden is bizarre and the fact they won't say so gives away the agenda. Hillary and that cubic clothing?

Dear God, you gotta be deaf dumb and blind to call "Trumps Behavior Bizarre", while ignoring the absolutely insane behavior of the Democrats, from Trump Derangment , to Russiagate, to their performances during the lame "debates" which seem more regurgitate socialist anti-American propaganda. God help us if they win their behavior will, based on what they claim they want to do to our nation, be truly bizarre, and destructive.

Besides Truman, LBJ was pretty salty and bombastic. What’s more, there were times when he used a certain anatomical anomaly of his to intimidate lawmakers.

There is NO "bizarre behavior" on the part of Trump. He has been AMAZINGLY CALM at the focal point of the biggest lying hissy fit of rabid lunatics and traitorous FBI, CIA and DoJ folks the country has EVER seen.
That tears it for Malcolm. He has been aching to get on my lifetime "never waste you time" list, and this one pretty much seals the deal. Go to Hades, Mr. Malcolm.

To RINO's and lie-berals, their president, Donald Trump, acts "bizarre".
To true conservatives, President Trump is the first president in many years that won't just stand there and be attacked and just take it. He fights back!!!! And I respect that more than all president since Gerald Ford combined!!!!

They just haven't seen what a real man dose before. There is nothing about his behavior that's bizarre. It's how a truly successful man acts. I'm so glad we finally found one to lead this country to where it really belongs; the greatest on the planet. There has never been a great or even good socialist or communist anything that's worked. MAGA
