Fox News host Laura Ingraham compared teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg to the characters in Stephen King's Children of the Corn on her show Monday night. Thunberg, 16, spoke in front of the United Nations about the dangers of climate change earlier that day. Ingraham played a clip of her speech and commented, "Anyone else find that chilling?" The Ingraham Angle then cut to a clip of 1984 movie, Children of the Corn. The movie follows a fighting couple that gets stuck in a small town in Nebraska while they are trying to reach California. The children of the town are a part of
Greta is a disturbed youngster who is being mentally abused by her parents and teachers. Sad. She is living in fear of a dreaded monster (ManBearPig) that doesn't exist.

She reminds me most of the virgin mystics and zealots of the medieval to reformation period. They were often called the "Maid of" wherever. You know the type that with the help of clever handlers gathered to their cause the easily led with mystical "prophecies" and dire predictions. The Catholic Church put a few of them to the fire for heresy. Almost all proved to be mentally ill or simply frauds.
If you view this Earth worship for what it is, the newest incarnation of the lefts religious delusions as a means to control the population, with its dogma of anthropogenic climate change as a main teaching, its climate change confessions and need for absolution and being Carbon neutral then as a sacrament , this mentally disturbed and very spoiled young female with her finger wagging, prophesies, and dire warnings fits right in.

What Greta's parents and environmental extremists are doing is exploiting this child. She has mental issues and can not be taken serious. What they are doing is called child abuse.

When I saw the clip of her yesterday and then again her reaction when she saw President Trump, I thought there is something seriously wrong with her mentally. Her parents and handlers need to get her home quickly and keep a close eye on her. I wouldn't be surprised if she did harm to herself.

Or the brainwashed children that the Germans trained in WW2. Pretty much the same stuff.

Greta Thunberg says that politicians and businesses have stolen her life due to climate change. It is actually her parents and handlers who have done that by using her for their political agenda. The fear and misinformation they have instilled in her over her lifetime so that she can be used as a political weapon should be considered child abuse. The UN should be ashamed of itself for being duped into such a flagrant manipulation of a child for political purposes.

#3 is spot on. Little Greta is far past the point where a good spanking and sending to bed without supper would serve to be instructive. She is a Bad Seed and will come to no good, but without doing much damage first.

Tell that to all of US who suffer from some form of mental illness. Do I get to have "LHM" embossed on my chest and wear a cape? Bueller?

Folks... we do need to be careful with our "verbage", especially when children are involved... BUT, we need to start calling this stuff out and begin demanding various family "social services" to investigate when we perceive child abuse. This young lady has been abused and she needs help... 1) Call out that her claims are not accurate, not close and dangerous to our population and 2) Suggest that those who are terrorizing this young girl be investigated by the power of the gov't - start using their tools against them!

If we think she’s mentally a mess now, just wait until 10 years from now when, once again, none of the climate change loonies’ predictions have come to pass and she has been dropped by the left just like they dropped Cindy Sheehan.

#11 - sending her to bed without supper wouldn't be a punishment for her. In addition to being autistic, she's anorexic.

Personally, I found that the original version of the movie, Village of the Dammed to be more apt. Those children controlled a whole village and bent them to their will with mind control. A very chilling movie, even for that era. The adults turned on the children and wound up killing all the colonies worldwide.
PS: I know I misspelled the Title of the movie, but sometimes the word net here catches naughty words sometimes in the comments.

Never could stomach Steven King, his work always seemed stupid and pointless. I had heart the phrase before, but had no idea what it meant.
Greta Thunberg is a really crazy, and potentially dangerous person. Who doubts that she could work out some way that killing "bad people" would be a good thing for "her cause" to "save the planet"?
Is she the next mass shooter? Whacked out looking kid, really.

She is a dump and pump for climate activists. When she ceases to be young and fervent, her handlers and funders will trade her in. And if she's Aspergers and anorexic, the future isn't bright.

If you’ve seen the movie “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” she will remind you of the little girl in the orphanage playing hopscotch and chanting, “My mommy. Your mommy.....”.

Note the last paragraph, a related item in which Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire called Thunberg "mentally ill." and Fox apologized. Can't state facts when children are misrepresenting them.
