The anonymous whistleblower who claimed that President Donald Trump pressured the Ukraine’s head of state to investigate Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden didn’t have direct knowledge of what was said, according to a new report.
CNN‘s Stephen Collinson reported Friday that the whistleblower “didn’t have direct knowledge of the communications,” citing an official briefed on the matter:
Instead, the whistleblower’s concerns came in part from learning information that was not obtained during the course of their work, and those details have played a role in the administration’s determination that the complaint didn’t fit the reporting requirements under the intelligence whistleblower law, the official said.

You can't make this stuff up. This is beyond reality. So, someone said that they learned that President Trump forced the Ukraine PM to investigate Biden son's shady business deals. How could this be justified as a whistleblower complaint? It's more like he said; she said.

Since when did a Democrat need ''direct knowledge'' in order to like a wet rug or get a bad case of diarrhea-of-the-mouth?

Smoke him (her) out and make them pay for obstructing MY Government from doing the work they were rightfully elected to do! If the Media can't, or won't release attribution then its an undocumented rumor! Make them pay for obstructing MY Government from working for me. I'm sick of this. If you've got something gripe about...do so. But stand up and be counted. Otherwise, shut up and do your job! Or run for Office. Most of this slander is coming from unelected Government 'lifers'.

I don't get it. What exactly did Trump supposedly do that was wrong even if the report was accurate?

There doesn't seem to be a will or the courage to properly deal with these outrages. If there was, people would have been in jail three years ago. Can't understand what seems to be the problem. Could be a fear of the fickle will of the voters. Tomorrow if there is a government change all these conscientious do gooders will find themselves in peril. Remember 'payback time'? We are in deeper trouble than we realize.

I'm beginning to think the Dems got this out there as a red hot anti-Trump story to "inoculate" Joe during the campaign, assuming he makes it, and to make sure it doesn't come up. This leak and smear may end up being worse than the actual Hunter Biden crime.

I was in a bar and I met this guy who knew my second cousin and he said that his neighbor's mailman recently had some plumbing and electrical work done and that the electrician told him that the receptionist at the place where he buys equipment told him that she's dating a guy who doesn't like Trump and heard from his brother-in-law that . . . .

#6, same thing he did wrong in all the other "impeachable" scandals - he insisted on being Donald Trump/

Well if the "whistleblower" did not have direct knowledge about Trump's phone calls but obtained knowledge indirectly from a source outside of work then there is a leak somewhere and I am pretty sure the "whistleblower" has a legal obligation (assuming he has a security clearance of some kind) to help plug the leak and turn in the leaker rather than spread it to newspaper reporters. Trump is undoubtedly correct in his assumption that literally all of his phone calls and most of his conversations are bugged by the deep state. The "whistleblower" has someone leaking the contents of those calls to him/her.

Understandable that 'many ears' might be in on a high level presidential phone call... That being said; t At that level,[ Special Security Clearances would be needed, and accompanying mandatory commitments of Secrecacy by those holder of clearances] ... Obviously, someone has created multiple violations, and retribution needs to be exacted on those responsible.....Otherwise, our system is a joke on its face. Punishments incleded in the Laws are everything from DEATH to permanent incarceration.....Apparently, unless the person is a Democrat?

Yes, Trump was wiretapped by the Deep State. Spygate continues through the left fifth column embedded in our federal government.
The interesting thing is that the Russia Hoax was hatched by the Ukrainians to use America to defeat their enemy. The CIA and Dept of State organized the Maidan Coup and the new Ukrainians deservedly lost Crimea and The Donbas. Then the Ukrainian Embassy here through Alexandra Chalupa of the DNC organized the demise of Paul Manafort from the Trump Campaign. They were in cahoots with Hussein and Biden made a pretty penny. The loss of Crimea serves the Ukrainian Corrupt State well, they fully deserve it. The Ukraine has to pay for what they did to US by bribing our internal politics. Free Paul

The "whistleblower" is having concerns about being identified, and caught leaking classified information, so now the cover story leaked that there was no "direct" knowledge. Uh huh? I hope the "whistleblower" gets justice.

Whoever leaked the supposed certainly classified information regarding a Presidential conversation with a foreign leader is not a “whistleblower” but is a “leaker”. There is no way that person could be defined as a “whistleblower” under federal law as the federal “whistleblower” laws only apply to federal employees who are employed by the Federal Executive Agencies. The President is not such an employee, and does not come under the preview of the jurisdiction of a federal agency Inspector General to who it is said that the complaint about the President was made. In other words, the President does not come under the administrative Inspection Generals jurisdiction and agency Inspectors have no authority to investigate a President. The reason the “leaker” made a complaint through an agency Inspector General is to try to keep his or her identity anonymous under provisions of the “whistleblower” laws. At the moment Democrats are essentially claiming that the President should be impeached and removed from office based upon that complaint made anonymously by a person who reportedly has claimed that his or her knowledge of the President’s conversation is not first hand?
