Democrat presidential candidates took part in the Polk County Democrats Steak Fry in Iowa Saturday, which featured thousands of sizzling steaks. Their participation follows weeks of climate change alarmism from the presidential candidates, many of whom have signaled support for limiting beef consumption in order to combat what they say is a looming climate catastrophe. According to reports, organizers were prepared to grill roughly 10,500 steaks plus 1,000 vegan burgers. Seventeen candidates attended the event, including: Joe Biden (D) Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) Kamala Harris (D-CA) Cory Booker (D-NJ) Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) Michael Bennet (D-CO) Beto O’Rourke (D) Andrew Yang (D) Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D) Julián Castro (D) Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) Tim Ryan (D-OH

Not just the eco-loons; what about all of the animal rights loons? That’s a whole lot of dead cows. But we will hear nary a peep out of any of them because everyone who was attended was pro-abortion and the left will give up their eco and animal concerns as long as they’re still allowed to kill unborn and just born babies.

Me Too started with a hashtag, then morphed into a trend of public humiliation, trial by media, and personal boycotts that altered the standards by which a person is judged. Initially the movement was used to take down chronic abusers of women who had been using their power and influence to silence complaints. As the movement picked up steam, private sexual encounters became fair game. Many of the Me Too infractions that came to light aren’t criminal offenses, and much of the shaming has been against non-public figures. Those accused who are known in their field but not tabloid superstars experience being

The life of the Trump-Ukraine affair can be measured in days, and the most basic facts of the matter are still unknown. Yet many Democrats and their allies in the media are already renewing their calls for the impeachment of President Trump. By doing so, they are observing one of the lessons of the Trump-Russia investigation: Act before finding out what happened. Don't wait for the end of an investigation, with its facts, details, and messy inconclusiveness, to call for the president's removal. Strike first, before things get complicated. We don't know precisely what was said in the July 25 telephone conversation in which Trump reportedly pressed Ukrainian President

Senior Republican operatives are confident President Trump will not absorb lasting damage from fresh allegations that he pressured Ukraine to investigate political rival Joe Biden, predicting he might even win over swing voters in 2020 if Democrats initiate impeachment. Republican strategists are not dismissing the gravity of accusations. They are simply skeptical that the unfolding scandal will hurt Trump with GOP voters any more than did a two-year federal probe into charges that he colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton. Some Republicans even see an upside. Impeachment lacks critical support from voters, yet House Democrats are more likely to pursue removing the president through extra-electoral means, risking a backlash.

Farm subsidies are perhaps the ultimate, but secret, third rail of American politics. While entitlements are discussed out in the open, farm subsidies are rarely talked about – even though they are the most expensive subsidy Washington doles out. All told, the U.S. government spends $20 billion annually on farm subsidies, with approximately 39 percent of all farms receiving some sort of subsidy. For comparison, the oil industry gets about $4.6 billion annually and annual housing subsidies total another $15 billion. A significant portion of this $20 billion goes not to your local family farm, but to Big Aggie. (Note that this $20 billion annual farm subsidy figure doesn’t take

According to the latest presidential opinion polls, the 2020 presidential election is over. Newsweek is giddy, reporting several days ago, “The latest Fox News poll about the 2020 election shows President Donald Trump losing to every Democratic frontrunner including Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.” Propaganda, used extensively in the past by communists and Nazis, is information put out by governments, or their media allies, to push an agenda and influence people rather than to inform them. Much of mainstream journalism today falls into the category of propaganda with the media presenting only part of a story, or fabricating news entirely, in order to further their political agendas.
