House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff threatened on Thursday to sue the Trump administration for withholding details of a complaint by a whistleblower in the intelligence community that reportedly involves President Trump’s communications with a foreign leader.
Trump is said to have made a certain commitment to the leader, which the whistleblower proceeded to report to the intelligence community’s inspector general, Michael Atkinson. During a classified meeting with lawmakers Thursday, Atkinson confirmed that the complaint referred to multiple

You do that Schiff. Then you can get counter sued. It will be good for you to learn that the Judge never does get to your case, and when he does, it is to advise you to settle the matter with the other party. That goes on for years and decades. Have a nice time!

Excuse me, who is the "Chief Executive" of the USA? President Donald J. Trump, elected by the constitutional process, or some "intelligence community whistleblower" whose panties are in a wad?

So now we know, via GP, what that ODNI "whistleblower" thing was all about. As usual, it was about trying to set Trump up, alleging "serious misconduct," to set up a supposed crisis. This comes in the wake of Trump firing Dan Coats and Sue Gordon and trying to take control of his own executive branch. GP explains:
The whistleblower complaint was filed last month shortly after Maquire was chosen to be acting DNI Chief.
Joseph Maguire refused to comply with Schiff’s September 17 deadline and will not testify this week or hand over the whistleblower complaint,
prompting a standoff with Congress.
Wednesday night the Deep State fanned the flames by leaking to the Washington Post ahead of Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson’s closed-door testimony about the whistleblower complaint scheduled for Thursday.

This is also a confirmation that Schiff (and Nadler) have nothing on president Trump ... and they are desperately looking for any scraps of dirt.

IG’s of Federal executive agencies do not have authority investigate the President. The so-called “whistleblower” who must be a “Deep State” bureaucrat could just as well ran directly to Schiff with the substance of the complaint, or to the FBI. Chances are this is the Democrats trying to justify another Special Counsel to investigate President Trump.
Just think Trump could have promised the Danish PM that he is will to trade her Puerto Rico for Greenland.

Trump does not owe them an explanation for anything he says to another foreign leader and the CIA does not have a constitutional role to play in policing what the President says. The better question, which Schiff will avoid, is where the hell did this spook come by this information and why?
