Sen. Lindsey Graham, we’re still waiting. We’re still waiting for that flash of righteous indignation you showcased during the confirmation hearings of now-Justice Brett Kavanaugh to turn into action. You know, when you turned to your Democrat colleagues and seethed that their efforts to “destroy this guy’s life” were “the most despicable things that I have seen in politics.” We’re still waiting for that tie-straightening smile in the face of protestors to turn into . . . something.
Yes, Kavanaugh was confirmed. But that isn’t justice. Justice requires consequences for those who tarnished the man and lied to Senate Judiciary investigators and committee members. Justice requires consequences for Christine Blasey Ford

Cleveland believes that they’re just warming up.
The left isn’t done. They aren’t nearly done. They will continue to hound Kavanaugh, either to twist him into a virtue-signaling pro-Roe vote, or to caution future conservative nominees to stay clear of the Supreme Court, or they’re coming for you.
It’s still not too late, however, for Graham to put a stop to this charade. Prior to stepping down from Grassley’s Judiciary Committee position, Sen. Chuck Grassley laid all the groundwork necessary to investigate Ford and McClean, and Graham now has even more lines of inquiry to pursue. Even more fodder will likely lie in “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation,” which is scheduled for release later this week.
The book refutes or casts doubt on much that the two authors and others are putting forth now, and it hasn’t even been released yet…
As Cleveland says, would Ford’s father, Mr. Blasey, now be stating his support for a man who had raped his daughter? Even her dad didn’t believe her story. I’ll bet he knows a lot more about his little girl.

If only the Repubs would go after these sicko's like poster #1. These days, having the truth on your side isn't enough. The left is a zombie army of flakes, anarchists and fascists. They don't care about the truth, they care about destroying everything this country is built on. Now, we can include the NYT, CNN, NBC and the other corporate media outlets that are bombarding our airwaves with lies, distortions, and cover-ups as part of the zombie army. If I were Justice Kavanaugh, I would sue the 'Slimes, Blasely-Ford, and her lawyers for everything they tried to do.
Graham can investigate, as the author suggests. But what will that gain other than what we already know? The time for investigation is over. The time for talk is over. We either need to start fighting back with everything we have, or simply raise the white flags. Which is it going to be?

As a rape survivor, I find poster #1's comments repulsive and ignorant. What Ms. Ford described was barely 'sexual assault' of rubbing bodies together through 2 people's clothing. What is being described as happening to Ms. Ramirez is forcibly toughing her hand to his penis.
When people conflate two (or even one) minor sexual assaults with physically violent penetration rape, it hurts the credibility of every rape victim.
This is the same as saying a swift punch in the nose is as bad as murder, it makes the accuser look ignorant and unduly vengeful.

Post #1 is obnoxious, non-factual, and repellent - it doesn't belong here.

I agree, #6. Nastiness is *not* a desirable, or I hope, allowed, characteristic of this forum.

We are almost 3 years into the Trump administration. 3 years ago Lindsey said he was going to "get to the bottom of things", that hearing were going to be held---but no hearing have been held--and Lindsey doesn't plan on holding any. Lindsey will go on the talk shows and talk tough about what the President ought to do, and that will be it. It would be a hoot to hear Trump's nickname for Lindsey Graham. Trump is the best at appropriate nicknames, so I will leave that to him.

Start by bringing charges against Michael Avenatti, and Julie Swetnick . She lied under oath. Grassley mumbled about prosecution, but that was all he did.
Then on to Ford. subpoena her father, he knows her problems with the truth.

I take it that #1 is another desperate, looney, democrat. Keep it up on Kavanaugh and we in Adams County will register another new 1,000 republicans as we did when you first started this crap.

Democrats have to be the most vindictive people on the planet. They won’t allow anyone to get in their way of fundamentally transforming this country. They have been putting people into place in our government who have been stealthily pushing their agenda forward, but when Donald Trump came along they decided to go full bore because they knew the threat he brings to their little fascist agenda. For decades politicians like Graham have gone along to get along while the democrats were setting things up so they could do their dirty work. If they needed spying done, the intelligence agencies were on board, if they needed exoneration by law enforcement, the FBI and DOJ were on it, if they needed a narrative set, the media was right there to do their bidding. Where were Republicans when all this was going on? Asleep, uninterested, gaining wealth and prestige or simply ignorant? When good men do nothing, evil flourishes and there have been an enormous amount of flourishing of evil. Now we have blatant, in your face squads who do nothing but malign any effective Republican. Once the democrats get an opportunity to smear whatever flavor of Republicanism that is effective, they go into destroy mode. How do you stop these never ending vicious attacks? You have to fight back individually and collectively. You must present a united front that says in no uncertain terms, this is unacceptable. You cannot take the high road because the democrats have blown it up. You must consistently and forcefully challenge every smear. There is no sense of comity and there will not be until these radicals are completely defeated.
The democrats decided to go to war in the most offense ways imaginable. While we did not desire this path, it has been thrust upon us and now is no time to go wobbly. We must engage, challenge, and never back down. Otherwise, we will forever be subjected to the vindictive whims of the unhinged left. They will not stop. They cannot. The only way this ends is with their total defeat and rejection by the American people. We must fight the destroyers. We do not have the luxury of complacency anymore. The dems are determined and entrenched and this poisonous political warfare is their go to strategy. Republicans must never back down and always be prepared to defend and oppose whatever scurrilous accusation is thrown out there. We must punch back hard and hold them accountable for the lives they ruin.

Well, #1, to add on to what #4 wrote, please go on and defend Ted Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Justin Fairfax, and all of the demonrats in congress who have used the sexual assault slush fund to pay off their victims. Not to mention that Epstein was a leftist and best buddy with Bill Clinton and a bunch of other leftist perverts.
Now, go back under the bridge.

The same liberal dems going after Kavanaugh for zero are extremely silent on the accusations of democrats in very high places in Virginia Government.

#1 must be the basement-dwelling son of our old friend Moronica. Stupidity like that must be passed down in genes.
The Left has returned to the harassment of Kavanaugh because in their minds they came close to nailing him the last time. Trying for three years, they have never even singed Donald Trump's feathers. They want to see every good person in government impeached or jailed so they all might look like the ten stooges that they picked up off the sidewalk to run for POTUS can look good to their voters. There isn't enough makeup or shoe polish in the world to make that lot look good.

This is not about the #1’s comments. It is about Lindsey Graham and Republicans who seem to have decided to let bygones be bygones. Senator Graham, stand taller and hold these liars and manipulators accountable. One grand scold at the Kavauaugh hearing was commendable and enormously appreciated. But now there is a job to do. DO IT!!

Whatever #1 said, I did not see because it says "deleted" now. After reading all of the comments, it does make me think about one thing. There are people saying that Donald Trump is not presidential enough. He doesn't talk or act like a president. Whatever that means. I guess if you are judging by looks only, it makes sense. So when I hear even on this site that he should back off on the tweeting etc., etc., Brett Kavanaugh has for the most part stayed silent. I know he spoke up when necessary but continued on to become a judge. This latest smear by the New York Times didn't care whether he was silent or not. The smear will continue. I hope he doesn't stay silent and seeks a lawsuit against the perpetrators. I am glad we have a president who resolutely defends his character and credibility.

Now, will the people who lambasted me the day after Ms Graham's fake "I'm a conservative, no really I am" Kavanaugh hearing speech when I said he was faking it because he is up for election in 2020 and needs to fool his constituents yet again into believing he is anything but a fake RINO, please apologize?
This NYT article is just another warning to the list of possible conservative Supreme and federal judge nominees that the Marxists like the NYT AND Bill Clinton's defense attorney named in the fake NYT article WILL destroy your life and they WILL get away with it thanks to Depends wearers like Ms Graham who continue to give credibility to the idea of impeaching Kavanaugh and hit pieces by the NYT.
Do any of you still believe Andy McCabe or any of the felons involved in the illegal coup will be indicted for their crimes? Pet your purple unicorn while you also faun over Ms Graham's "conservative" stance.
