The left sure has a cock-eyed way of looking at things. I don’t see a problem with what’s on her dress, which I think is appropriate. The left doesn’t care about the 9-11 victims as their actions in the last 18 years have shown, they just pick a bone for no reason other than politics.

Oh, please! The left will grab at the tiniest most absurd thing to attack the Trumps. What they see as a plane crashing into the Washington Monument is actually decorative stitching around the slit in the back of the coat with a button tab to keep it partially clothed. I’ve made lots and lots of clothing over my lifetime and this is obvious to anyone who has an iota of common sense. Of course, millennials have no clue what a sewing machine is or how it is used.

Blowing up every photo of Michelle Obama would have been impossible, due to the acreage her clothing covered. It is sad that Mrs. Trump is so over scrutinized that they must enhance every inch of her clothing to find that topstitching and button to complain about.

If President Trump found a cure for all cancers tomorrow, the lie-berals (including most of the media) would accuse him of being "homophobic" for not curing AIDS!!!! He and his family can't win in the eyes of lie-berals. Fortunately, he has a very thick skin and doesn't care what lie-berals think!!!! Amid several news cycles dominated by a deeply stupid hurricane dispute, a controversy over the Taliban and presidential optics, "impeachment," and the non-amicable departure of the National Security Adviser, some decidedly positive economic news has gotten lost -- or at least muted -- in the shuffle. For instance, one of the Democratic attack lines on GOP economic policies, no matter how successful they may be, is that they exclusively benefit "the rich." This Washington Post story underscores why that simply has not been the case during the current expansion:

Democrats are an opportunistic bunch, and the sudden surge of Obama-love in Houston at Debate Three was weird stuff, given the stark contrast to idol-toppling from the previous debates. From Aaron Blake at the Washington Post: Barack Obama: The last Democratic president has found himself something of an unlikely villain at the first two debates, as Democrats anxious to go further left than his administration distanced themselves from his immigration record, his deals with Republicans and even argued Obamacare is insufficient. Early Monday morning, Donald Trump tweeted: “94% Approval Rating in the Republican Party, a record. Thank you!” Where the president got this specific number remains a mystery. Recent polls by YouGov put his GOP approval roughly ten points lower, and Gallup, which has tracked Trump’s popularity since he took office, puts him at 88 percent. But I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised that Trump used his Sharpie to round up his score. He’s deeply invested in being — or at least claiming to be — the most popular Republican president in history.

To date, five congressmen from Texas have resigned instead of seeking re-election in 2020. Their resignations signal two things from GOP leadership. The first is the realization that Texas is now lost. The second is that this loss is due entirely to the changing demographics resulting from legal and illegal immigration. The five congressmen that have resigned are Bill Flores (17th), Will Hurd (23rd), Pete Olson (22nd), Kenny Marchant (24th), and Mike Conaway (11th). Of these five, Congressman Conaway is unique in that his district will likely remain red for some time. He has not faced an opponent in numerous election cycles.

The climate crisis threatens global sea-level rises of well over half a metre if we fail to act, while tidal storm surges will reach many times that height.
