A vegan activist in Spain who claimed to have been attacked by an angry mob last week—after she “rescued” 16 rabbits from their farm—wound up causing the deaths of nearly 100 baby bunnies in the process, a report says. The activist, who goes by the name “Mythical Mia” on social media, conducted the alleged rescue mission on a farm near Osono last Sunday, according to the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia. Five rabbits, which were pregnant and about to give birth, were killed during the chaotic retrieval and several others were left with broken spines, the paper reports, citing an assessment

The last thing on the minds of these animal 'rights' activists is animal welfare. This case proves it. its all about control. They don't want you to have any animals. There was a case of an animal rights group operating an animal shelter. Turns out most animals brought in were euthanized almost immediately.

To a liberal the ends always justify the means. To solve 'mother gaia's' problem with man-made climate change the leftist-prog-prigs would gladly recommend human genocide to resolve them. If everyone on earth were to die tomorrow then climate change would become a non-issue. Go figure.

A question for the vegans who want to end the raising, butchering and eating of domesticated farm animals (and fish) - if we go that route, what do we do with all the cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, etc. currently held in "captivity"? The farmers and ranchers won't want them since there's no profit in it - it's called the cattle "industry" for a reason. Are you willing to take in a few of these critters to raise yourself? There are over 8 billion chickens in the system. You want to take a couple hundred and raise them in your front room? How 'bout a couple of Angus bulls for your back yard? You can take them out and walk them every night around the neighborhood like a dog. A few piglets to sleep in your bed to keep you warm at night? Let's not leave out the fishies. You can throw a few farm raised catfish in your bathtub or swimming pool.

#7, I bet that the animal rights vegan loons have no idea how many bunnies and other animals are killed in the harvesting of vegetables. The only way to be truly sure that a vegan is not responsible for the death of animals is for them to grow all of their own food and harvest it all by hand, with no machines.

City contractors would have to reveal past ties to slavery under a Council bill that will be introduced on Thursday. The legislation would require companies to search their history and records to determine if they or any affiliated entities engaged in or profited from the slave trade when they enter in or renew city contracts of $100,000 or more. “New York City is the financial capital of the world, and the ugly truth is that its stature as such has roots in the slave trade,” Councilman I. Both Republicans who Donald Trump endorsed won their special congressional elections Tuesday night in North Carolina, delivering the president a symbolic victory as his re-election season gets underway. The two contests, months in the making, were seen as referenda on whether the president could hold on to majorities in red states that propelled him to the Oval Office. Republican Greg Murphy won his Third Congressional District handily, holding on to a seat left vacant when Rep. Walter Jones died in February. The other race, a more hotly contested Ninth Congressional District battle, was a dead heat in the final pre-election polls.
