Activists hoping to be let off with a slap on the wrist after being arrested for disrupting last weekend’s Straight Pride Parade have run into resistance from Boston judges. Two Boston Municipal Court judges refused to throw out the charges against the 18 defendants who appeared Tuesday in court, frustrating defense attorneys and prosecutors who sought to have minor charges dismissed, as reported by local news outlets. Judge Thomas Horgan also told out-of-towners that they risked 90-day jail sentences if they set foot in Boston for any reason other than court and lawyer appointments, rejecting one defendant’s request

One of the biggest issues that affects civil society is the lack of consequences. Dems are use to breaking laws and being immune from consequences (Clinton lying to federal court, Clinton trading national secrets with a bathroom server, Comey et al and their bloodless coup, Obambi lying about keeping doctors, etc). Also, the Snowflakes have never been held accountable for anything. Instead they get a particpation trophy . Well, now an adult has started to impose consequences. I expect Dems, the Kneepads as well as snowflake's socialist media to collectively explode.

Sub-heading "36 people arrested, four officers injured after counter-protesters descend on event"
1. A Parade celebrating anything isn't a protest and a violent attack on it isn't in any way a "counter-protest"
2. Half of the attackers have already had their charges dropped, ridiculous.
3. "Minor charges": "Four officers injured" No. Injuring an officer is always a felony.
4. Prosecutors want the charges dropped? Using their office for political activism can not be tolerated - and apparently the judges agree.

FTA: "The decision drew the ire of Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins, who accused him of punishing protesters for exercising their First Amendment rights."
I'm sure the same attorney would have made the same argument if straight folks counter protested an LGQB..whatever...and inflicted the same damages. Maybe not. Hey, Milo Yiannopoulos was the grand marshal, how funny is that?

Antifa goons and their lawyers attempting to equate physical attacks on citizens and the police with First Amendment Rights. Nice try morons, I hope you aren't crying over your unfair treatment. I'm still waiting for your appearance out here in flyover country. We do not tolerate terrorists in any form.

I have said for years that we could put a stop to violent protestors by imposing jail time. Thirty to ninety days in the city jail would do wonder. No fines, just jail time. Let them eat jail food and dodger the pervs and violent inmates for a few weeks and they wouldn't be interested in attacking innocent people and police officers.
Without consequences, these morons get to strut around freely and act like getting arrested is a badge of honor.

This country's 'judges' are opposite of everything they SWORE AN OATH to.
There is NO HONOR in American politics (except for TRUMP) these days.
And it only took EIGHT YEARS of Obamaobfuscation to destroy what was already fading away.
Talk about "ILLEGALS"...we had one in the brown house and now are paying the puke and his beard a pension, postage and secret service protection, which I hope FAILS miserably one day soon.

I truly have never had any desire to visit Boston. THe Kennedy's are one reason, their accent is the other. As Henry Higgins sang in My Fair Lady, why can't the English learn how to speak.

Sounds like AOC and the liberal County Prosecutor will prop these law breakers up a political prisoners. I can't wait for Amnesty International to show up to plead their cases as political prisoners in Trump's America while ignoring that the assaulted police and others.
