An NYPD cop was captured on video saying “that’s one less a–hole to sue us” as he watched helicopter footage that shows a masked Brooklyn gunman dying after he was shot by officers. In the black-and-white aerial video obtained by The Post, the suspect, identified by police as Bloods gang member Brandon Clayton, is seen struggling on the ground in the back yard of a Brownsville home following a wild gun battle with police.(Snip) According to the police, Clayton, 29, was killed early Monday in a fierce firefight involving seven police officers after he shot at a patrol car.

When one is is a war zone, which is what NYC has become thanks to democrats, police are going to react harshly. I do not blame them, I blame policies and disrespect that is emanating from City Hall and the mayor's office. Watch your backs NYPD, everyone is out to get you right now. Until they need you to stop the bad guy from hurting them.

Though #1 is probably correct, it seems to be a dispassionate and correct assessment of the situation.

Who remembers the North Hollywood shootout with those two very well armed bank robbers?
After police shot his ankles out from under him they waited until he was dead before going in.
Ambulance personnel should not go into unsafe situations like a man with a gun in his hands or close enough to his hands to grab.
The NYPD did the right thing to keep ambulance personnel away until it was safe.
That one officer did the wrong thing attributing this wait time to our litigious society.

It must be very hard to serve and protect an openly hostile and perpetually aggrieved populace. While his jaded remark is a sad commentary on this very issue, it is also very understandable given the community supported hostility toward all authority in that hellish city.

Any Democrat who said this would be protected. I'm quite positive that Hillary Clinton must have said something similar to this to herself at several events in the past.

When my wife or I, read an article where a good guy - cop or civilian - in a confrontation with an armed bad guy, sends the baddie off with a few well placed shots, as having exercised good gun control.
With our current justice system, the fewer to leach off the public lic dime in the courts or incarcerated, the better.

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. Attributed to Orwell
So what’s the problem? The officer was just stating a fact.

Don't beat up on cops until you have walked a mile in their shoes, or entered a dark alley looking for a perp with a gun, or searched an 'empty' building in the dark of night, or pulled over some azzwipe who just commited a traffic infraction, not knowing if he/she is a wanted felon with a gun....
JUST. DON"T......
And before you spout off, yeah, I've been there and done that....

A dangerous criminal is rehabilitated and The Black Community is no doubt safer as a result, but they're quibbling over words. And talk about a hostile work environment; police are under fire from just about everyone.
