In an interview with the British magazine Attitude, Lucien Greaves, the co-founder of The Satanic Temple in the United States, says that "more than 50% of our membership is LGBTQ," and that is a "conservative estimate."
Attitude is a best-selling gay magazine, founded in 1994. The Satanic Temple was founded in 2013 and it promotes a secular humanist agenda. The Temple, based in Salem, Mass., denies that there is an actual Satan and it claims that it does not worship the Devil. "It would be a conservative estimate to say that more than 50 per cent of our membership is LGBTQ," Greaves told Attitude

I'm confused. The Satanic Temple claims not to believe in or worship Satan. Then why the name? Could it be that a name like The Secular Humanist temple wouldn't get nearly as much attention? The fact that it draws heavily from people who must deny natural law and God's law to validate their desires is hardly surprising.

There had been a previously posted article about those individuals who regretted their decision on sexual reassignment/transgenderism. They now call out the reality that sexual ambiguity is truly a delusion, that it leads to depression and those that call themselves transgendered really need help and therapy to escape the lie. A former transgender also mentioned in the article that those affiliated with LGTBQ groups were the most hateful, vicious, deluded and depressing group of people that he had ever met. So, it is sadly not surprising to hear that a community with that shared pathos would gravitate towards satan, the father of all lies.

Maybe if they congregate there, they'll stay out of our churches and not perpetuate that lifestyle on our children.

Makes sense since the bible is clear on sexual deviancy, and trying to convince Christians otherwise is not working out too well.

These are the wonderful kids that Taylor Swift is playing up to (to kick start her movie career) and the Ms. Nancy Piglosi speaks so highly of, “God’s children” as I believe she says.

More than 50% of our membership are self possessed morons who in their constant struggle to be above average merely end up looking exactly like each other. Hat tip Fyodor D.

Im guessing that its a very very small "temple". In my travels, I've come across one self proclaimed satanist, and I'm half convinced that he claims that for shock value. From my experience, most non-christian gays and lesbians are either Wiccans, non-practicing Jews, agnostics or atheists.
We are talking about a group of people that may or may not believe in something else, but dont want to be judged. They dont want to associate themselves with people who call them deviants or mental cases. Read the above comments and put yourself in my shoes.

I've had similar experiences to #12. Very few people who practice any religion actually believe it is the gospel. (ok, forgive that one). They mostly just want to fit in somewhere so are willing to go through the motions to do that.
In the case of my own beliefs (Wicca), I don't really believe the earth will tilt on its axis if I go the wrong way in circle, but the admonition does remind me to go the right way. The rule of three, which says any evil or good you do is returned to you three times just doesn't pass the math test, but I do believe it is returned in some way. It gives one pause when getting ready to do something rotten. Mostly though, it is friends meeting friends and occasionally new people, and that's pretty good too.

50% or more of their members are LGBTQ, yet even with their expanded definitions (Q, etc and designed to make their numbers seem to be a greater part of the population), LGBTQ represent about ~15% of the general pop.
That is a high concentration of attraction to the demonic in that LGBTQ subset b

It is a conundrum...how do we disregard the Bible as fiction, yet our Temple is named after one of the main characters in the Bible? Perhaps they could rename it the Debauchery Temple.
