Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” New York Times columnist Bret Stephens said President Donald Trump was “either mentally unwell or morally unfit.” Stephens said, “The real issue for Republicans is simply to call out the fact that the president does not stand in any way for the traditional conservative economic principles that have defined the party for the better part of last 70 years.” He added, “What we saw over the last few days is a president who’s either mentally unwell or morally unfit. Maybe both. I don’t know.

more projection by the NYT's fake conservative. Check your mirror Bret for the mentally unwell, and also those raging propagandists in the desks around you at work, too.

operative phrase: "I don't know." it's the only thing he got right. he doesn't know squat. 70 years of getting it wrong should be a pretty strong clue.

Well, Bret Baby. We have a couple of options. YOU are too stupid and blinded to see PDJT for what and who he is (and by extension, why he was elected), OR you don’t have all of your critical thinking faculties.
Either option is not looking good for you, Bro.

All the news that is UNFIT to print is the NYT's motto. When it consists of lies, it is NOT news.

They tried this baloney during Trump's first year in addition to "chaos" in the White House. It went nowhere. Then it was Russia, Russia, Russia. That went nowhere. Then it was Obstruction! and that fell on its face and Mueller did as well. Now they are recycling mental illness again, a sign that they are desperate and casting around for an attack platform. If they had a viable dem candidate to rally behind, they would but the smurfs are all a joke.
"the president does not stand in any way for the traditional conservative economic principles"
Hallelujah!!! The traditional conservatives love to talk but accomplish little, win infrequently, surrender often, are perpetually intimidated by the media, and get bamboozled by dems all the time. Maybe Conservative Inc. are the ones with a mental health problem. They seem to enjoy running into brick walls and losing. Are they masochists? They exhibited the symptoms before they were inflicted with TDS. Maybe a dual diagnosis? Masochistic TDS?
BTW, specifically WHAT behavior troubles Stephens? One of the characteristics that a "traditional conservative" should emulate is speaking the truth with clarity, not personal attacks with pique, innuendos, and rumors.

The nice thing about Stephens leaving the WSJ is that I never see his columns unless someone posts them here.

I am not familiar with this Bret Stephens, but if he works for the New York Times he is, by definition, a loser...

Everyone is familiar with the democrat/leftist tactic of repeating the lie in hopes that someday it might stick but that is their problem, everyone knows what is going on except for the two or three NYT readers that might actually be dumb enough to believe it. THIS is exactly why the NYT is circling the bowl.

Huh.... before Trump, republican economic positions were racist and were mean to the poor. Now, Im to believe that Trump is a mental case for NOT subscribing to traditional republican ecomonic principles.
This is the very definition of damned if you do, damned if you dont.

Bret: This morning, President Trump just spoke extemporaneously and answered questions for half-an-hour. Could you do as much?
I doubt you could.

He's got to keep his job, people! That means making the keeping NYT subscribers in the early stages of grief (denial/anger). He's the "resident conservative". And while specifically talks about economic principles, he talks the mentally/morally unfit tripe.

They are going nowhere with this meme…
The real issue for Republicans is simply to call out the fact that the president does not stand in any way for the traditional conservative economic principles that have defined the party for the better part of last 70 years.
Traitorous Bret does not get it. Conservatives were sick of what was happening with the National Review-Weekly Standard “Republicans”. None want to go back to that tired era in which appeasement of Democrats via “hands across the aisle” darned near sunk our country.
The old tired RINOS may agree with Bret. Real Conservatives do not.
