(Video) - A NASA astronaut has been accused of committing the first crime in outer space after her estranged wife alleged she stole her identity and accessed her bank account without permission during a six-month mission aboard the International Space Station. Former Air Force intelligence officer Summer Worden, from Kansas, has been involved in a bitter divorce with astronaut Anne McClain since 2018 but the battle heated up after Worden filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and NASA’s Office of Inspector General accusing her wife of assuming her identity and gaining improper access to her private financial records while orbiting the earth, the New York Times reported.

Congrats NASA. We’re never going to get to Mars with an astronaut corps like this.

This has to be the height (pardon the pun) of political correctness. They have infested even the most elite of our occupations. Was she was a social promotion?

Who would have thought a female astronaut driving cross country in a diaper would look so normal....

File under : things I’ll skip telling to my dearly departed dad, who passed away in 1976, when we meet again in that sweet by-and-by.

Nasa was obviously not looking for the right stuff when picking this astronaut. I guess it was more important to look politically correct.

Being old I have a hard time keeping up with normal things that have been changed, which makes me wonder why she is used along with she. Aren't we supposed to be gender neutral. (Blushing) when I check myself out in the shower, I'm not understanding what I am supposed to be.

Perhaps accepting lesbians isn't the best idea? The are definitely abnormal, why would you want them in your program for "exceptional people"?

Chances are NASA did not pick her for the Astronaut program, Barack Omaha and his crew did for diversity purposes. Too bad the two former lovers could not have settled their domestic situation privately between them, as now at least one of their military careers will be wrecked.

More importantly, how does this fit into NASA's primary mission of muslim outreach?

Too funny. There may be a case for any standard schister that the perp was outside anyone's and everyone's jurisdiction when committing the crime.

lost me at "accusing her wife of assuming her identity"
What other time-bombs have been implanted throughout NASA? - it seems like everything that used to mean something had been infiltrated and infected, all the 3 letter agency's have been - even the skeptic's have taken sides - the latest issue of Skeptical Inquirer agrees with gorebull warming, that skeptics of Anthropogenic Global Warming AKA MMCC are "deniers", orange man bad, he lies, his followers are evil white supremacists gap-toothed inbreds from fly-over land, kind of difficult to start a reasonable discussion with that as the starting point for one side.

Had the film censors of the 1950's allowed such things, we would have a cult classic toady entitled, "Lesbians from Outer Space"

I was tempted to post "beam me up, Scotty," but that seems inappropriate.
I have to conclude that life has passed me by - as I read the article, I had trouble processing the information.

A few decades ago, a Libertarian presidential candidate posed the following thought experiment, "would you give up your favorite federal program in order to not pay income taxes ever again?"
Bye, NASA. You did great stuff but have become an international laughing stock.

Couldn't get past the first sentence. Too many "hers" and "shes" to make any sense out of what I was reading.
