Late one afternoon, while taking a leisurely stroll on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, a friend of mine named Tim Malloy ran into a trim, silver-haired neighbour of ours from Palm Beach in Florida. The man was walking down Madison Avenue, and several things about him were striking. For one thing, he was wearing slippers. Expensive, embroidered, monogrammed slippers. But slippers all the same. For another, he was accompanied by two exceptionally attractive women. As the man half shuffled, half walked down the avenue, the women walked slightly behind him, as if they were attendants or staff.

Sicko.

If James Patterson has standards, why did he co-author a book with "Devil in a Blue Dress" BJ Clinton?

This is a picture of a total amoral narcissist that believes he is entitled to anything he wants. Clearly, he was a depraved individual that preyed on anyone to achieve his desires. Unfortunately, his wealth allowed him access to his victims quite easily and too much leniency from the authorities for years. It is surprising how when you have enormous amounts of money that people who should know better will look the other way and allow this sort of rancid behavior to continue all the while never giving a thought to the victims. These poor girls were pretty much throw aways and were treated as such. Epstein’s one guy. How many more just like him are out there doing similar things?
It will be shameful if those involved in Epstein’s perverted activities are not held accountable. Ms. Maxwell should have been rounded up right along with him. What difference between a procurer and an abuser? You can’t have one without the other. When our justice system fails because the guilty parties are rich and powerful, it is because of systemic corruption, and we are seeing a lot of that nowadays. A free society cannot function without justice. Corruption will eventually destroy it, and then what?

Patterson’s “best-sellers” are unreadable.

This is straight out of Patterson’s book, Filthy Rich, published in 2016. Everything about Epstein has long been known. I wonder if Clinton hired Patterson as his co-author to keep him quiet about Clinton’s involvement with Epstein.

Wonder if Patterson is thinking about writing another book about Epstein. He probably won't. He doesn't want to meet Epstein's fate.

What intrigues me is, what did the well known celebrity friends of Epstein find compelling and impressive about him to want to be implicated or associated with him. If not for the young girls, what was the attraction?

Me too #11 (pardon the poor use of phrase there). He was once a reliable read then he became THIS. Now I don't trust him enough to read his covers.

I've never read any Patterson books and I never will. It sounds like he was more impressed by the house than disgusted by it. Sorry I read this.

Patterson and Clinton were friends of Epstein. The Clintons commit crimes with complete impunity. Why did the DoJ assign Comey´s Daughter, a Clinton fan, to bring Epstein to his death?

#12, according to Patterson's book, which I read, Epstein could be quite charming and was highly intelligent. Although he never graduated from college, he was apparently a math prodigy. He attracted other intelligent people, like Dershowitz, who would discuss and debate issues with him. He was particularly interested in science and donated a ton of money to Harvard to set up a science research center which, as far as I know, still exists. He invited scientists to his island for "symposiums" which may or may not have included something extra.

James Patterson is a very commercial writer. Whatever $ell$. He wants to get out ahead of the pack who will undoubtedly try to write about Epstein. Andrew McCarthy is using the research and investigative work product of others like Sundance, John Solomon, Paul Sperry and others - done over the last several years - to write his commercial book on the collusion hoax. Bird$ of a feather...

I believe in recent years Patterson started writing young adult fiction. That’s disturbing to me.

One of the reasons celebs and other elites were attracted to him was the money. Superficial people tend to admire money and anyone who is willing to spread it around like honey to catch his prey. I have no doubt that those well known people were his prey, and he collected them and their secrets like a beekeeper collects pollen for honey. Once they were in his web, they really could not escape. Because he had it all on audio/video. I only have two questions about this really. One is where on earth were the parents of these girls? How did Epstein get around that roadblock? Secondly, how many of the media elites are trapped in this? You have to know that he would have involved enough of them to make sure they kept the secrets safe.

Southron's Wife: I haven't read the book or nothin'. But ANY of these folks that knew what the bum and his Satanic cohorts were up to should be held to account for not reporting him STAT. Like those two pilots..."Gee, it sure did look to me like they were little girls..." or whatever. (Paraphrase)
All those years and no one, NO ONE calls the authorities. But then, the "authorites" were probably the authorities on what the soul-killer was doing every ever-loving minute.
Only God is gonna clean up this stink.

The most interesting part of this prurient story is how the Enemedia managed to keep Bill Clinton out of it.

Patterson doesn't write his own books anymore. He may partner with other writers who may be the author, or, in cases such as Bill Clinton, an outside ghost does the writing and Patterson and Clinton get their names on the jacket as authors, even though they have little if anything to do with the writing. Usually Patterson does a rough outline and somebody else takes it from there (often some junior editor in their twenties).Maybe some day the writing mill will be exposed.

I have a topper. Jack Kennedy took a very young intern into the Lincoln Bedroom on her first day at work.
She wrote a book. Then his buddies grabbed hookers off the street when the Mrs. was out and he swam nude with them in the White House Pool. Yup, the Kennedys still are Number One in the Celebrity Sinner Club!!

#4, #8, #11, # 13--Look closely. Patterson is *not* writing all the books that bear his name. He's started a business of "training" writers. Don't know the details, of course, but he takes manuscripts written by aspiring writers (usually unknowns) and puts his name, in large letters, on the cover. The actual author is listed in small print. The "training" that Patterson provides may include editing and possibly suggestions.
My take on the process is that Patterson's name is selling books that he didn't write. The quality of the stories will, necessarily, vary.
