Former President Barack Obama and Joe Biden have an extremely close relationship, but that reportedly hasn't alleviated concerns Obama has about the former vice president's 2020 campaign. Obama spoke with Biden about the prospect of him running multiple times before the former vice president hopped into the race, and "took pains to cast his doubts about the campaign in personal terms," according to a New York Times report. A person familiar with the exchange told The Times that Obama said to Biden, "You don't have to do this, Joe, you really don't." But Biden responded that he felt he had

Of course, he meant the Subaru, not any accomplishments, since there were none, unless you're a Marxist.

Obama's legacy?
Ozymandias by P. Shelly
I met a traveller from an antique land
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them on the sand,
Half sunk, a shatter'd visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamp'd on these lifeless things,
The hand that mock'd them and the heart that fed.
And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

If it comes down to corruption and incompetence vs senility and pompousness, then I'll take Joe's legacy.

More likely Obama’s words were “Joe, I’m beggin’ ya ... don’t do it”.

I'll be cheering for Ol' Joe. May Obama's legacy age about as well as a gallon of milk in the trunk of an Alabama car in July.

We knew Obozo was delusional, so that he still thinks he has a legacy worth saving is just sad.

It’s just possible that Obama has someone else in mind who has not yet emerged onto the national scene who he thinks will not have to go through the Democrat primaries, but will be handed the Democrat nomination by acclamation at the Democrat National Convention. Chances are that person will be a very liberal minority person who will be supported by Obama.

Does anyone really believe Barack Obama cares one whit about Joe Biden's legacy??? If he tried to talk Biden out of running, it was for HIS good, not Biden's or the party's. He couldn't care less about either.

No worries, B.O. He probably doesn't even remember being your V.P. But WE remember that you chose him not once but twice as your running mate. If he was good enough to be a heartbeat away from you, then what changed?

That horse already left the barn and is eating grass about three farms away. Don't blame that deflated balloon of a legacy on Biden.

The "Obama legacy" has already been entirely erased by Pres. Trump.

How could Biden damage Obamacare, cash for clunkers, salendra, GM bail outs, reduction in military budget, high unemployment numbers, 2 year unemployment benefits, 6 trillion $$ stimulus with zero results???
