Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been indicted on multiple counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud and tax evasion, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Georgia announced Tuesday. A federal grand jury's decision comes one day after the reality television stars preemptively denied the charges, claiming they were being framed. "Todd and Julie Chrisley are charged not only with defrauding a number of banks by fraudulently obtaining millions of dollars in loans, but also with allegedly cheating taxpayers by actively evading paying federal taxes on the money they earned," said U.S. Attorney Byung J. Pak. "Celebrities face the same justice that everyone does.

Never watched that show, but the trailers were enough to make me positive that I never would watch it. I don’t watch television at all and haven’t for more than 15 years but would occasionally see the trailers as I walked through the room when my husband had the television on. That family is nothing more than new money white trash, so I’m not the least bit surprised at these charges.

I have no idea who these people are nor do I care. Reality stars made me stop reading. I'm my own reality star I don't need a television show to eat up my valuable time watching trash.

I did watch part of one episode, but have no idea who these people are, or why they have a TV show. The man appeared to be effeminate, so I thought that perhaps they were showing someone trying to overcome his sexual inclinations. Then I turned it off.

I also have never understood why these people have a TV show. I have seen it, and it is so staged and scripted. Todd is as gay as the day is long, but it is never mentioned. I always wondered where his money came from. I turn it off whenever it starts.

Have never heard of them or their “reality show”, and they don’t sound very real to me. And tucked down below all the love and fluff, This isn't Todd Chrisley's first brush with financial drama. He filed for bankruptcy in 2012 with debts having totaled $49 million. In 2017, local Atlanta station WSB reported that Todd was being investigated for tax evasion for failing to pay Georgia income taxes for years. He purportedly claimed legal residency in Florida even though the family resides in Georgia. Todd, who is indeed a rather ishy effiminate looking person, appears to be a flake ….

A few years ago my husband and I (having left our GPS charger at home) got lost in Montana -- which is a thing not to do. The miles are much longer there and the spaces between towns take hours to cross. We knew we’d gone wrong somewhere because the Rockies, which should have been on our left, were straight ahead, looming ever closer and closer. The first town we came to was a ghost town, which provided a Twilight Zone flavor to the whole adventure. Eventually we found a real town with real people who could tell us where we were –- our map had left us clueless.
The Meaning of Jeffrey Epstein 7 replies

Let’s apply Occam’s razor to Jeffrey Epstein’s untimely death. Which of these scenarios makes more sense: that a powerful billionaire who knew all about a global elite sex ring was murdered in jail by the same unaccountable forces that allowed him to evade justice for years, or that he suddenly killed himself while on suicide watch? Oh, he wasn’t on suicide watch? Well, that’s normal. It’s all very simple: Epstein must have killed himself after, very sensibly, being left alone to his own devices, despite being the most high-profile defendant in the country. What are you, a conspiracy theorist?
This isn’t normal politics.

Elijah Cummings sits on a powerful committee in Congress. He is considering every way he can to destroy the president and his family. The president told him in a tweet to get his district under control, and all hell broke loose because Cummings is a black man and Trump is white. Donald Trump has been called a racist for telling a black congressman to pay attention to his own district. Quickly, all of Trump’s supporters have been called racists and are defined by the media and opinion-makers as somewhat less than human.

In 1972, Pope Paul VI famously wrote that the “smoke of Satan” entered the Church, wafting through the very windows he and his liberal confreres had thrown open to the world. It was an admission that the Church around the time of Vatican II had succumbed to the secularism and hedonism of post-1960s Western culture. The Church had once led the West in moral standards. Now she slavishly followed the West’s lowest ones, becoming in the process as sick and dysfunctional as its shabbiest pagan institutions. All the scandals that defined a crumbling secular society hit the Church, culminating in a pederasty scandal of epic proportions.

The press is awash with speculation about the motives of mass shooters in the wake of the recent massacres in public spaces by lone gunmen over the weekend. I believe many people are missing a relevant point when discussing what happened in El Paso and Dayton, the latter of which is my home, and why some people become mass shooters. I live approximately 3 miles from the Oregon district of downtown Dayton, the location of Connor Betts’ insane shooting rampage

America is sick. Just about everybody recognizes it, and we didn’t need two more mass shootings to convince anybody of anything. Most Americans think the country is on the wrong track, despite a roaring economy. You can blame Donald Trump, but Americans have been unsatisfied with the country’s direction for most of the last two decades.

Anyone watching the most recent round of Democratic presidential primary debates should recognize that in both the first and second sets of debates, all the candidates worked from the assumption that Americans face a binary choice: government-run health care or private health insurance. Republican responses to the debates made the same assumption. Big Brother or Big Insurance — love one, hate the other. That's the anemic range of health care messaging to expect from Democrats and establishment Republicans alike. The problem? Both sides are wrong —

The ever-disappointing, Trump-hating Bret Stephens has disappointed his former fans again. He hates the President but admits the Democrat party is off the rails. Indeed, it is. In his most recent column, he mis-states Trump's tweet re: the "send them back" controversy. Trump merely suggested they go back - - to Somalia, Detroit, the Bronx and Boston, fix things then tell him how to fix the nation. It was not a racist tweet in any sense of the word any more than his stating the truth about Baltimore was racist. Skin color never enters Trump's mind, actions, or accomplishments

Ask anyone standing outside of a grocery store who they know is running for president against Donald Trump in 2020 and you’ll probably hear all kinds of answers. Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, for sure. Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren, probably. Maybe even Marianne Williamson. One name nobody would utter: Bill Weld. The former Massachusetts Republican governor, William “Bill” Weld, who in 2016 was the Libertarian Party vice presidential pick attached to perennial candidate, former New Mexico Republican Gov. Gary Johnson, is the only self-declared Republican challenger to President Trump this cycle.

An autopsy has now found, the Washington Post reports, that Epstein "sustained multiple breaks in his neck bones, according to two people familiar with the findings."
