Wednesday on CNN’s “At This Hour,” CNN political commentator Angela Rye criticized evangelicals who support President Donald Trump. Rye was discussing acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli changing the words of the poem “The New Colossus” by Emma Lazarus at the base of the Statue of Liberty to, “Give me your tired and your poor who can stand on their own two feet and who will not become a public charge,” during an interview with NPR.

Now, exactly who is this nit-wit?

And who the bleep is Angela Rye? Read the other article from John Nolte on how the media are distorting the words on that poem. And Nolte reminded “We are a nation of laws, not poems."

Luke 14: Which of you, wishing to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost to see if he has the resources to complete it? Otherwise, if he lays the foundation and is unable to finish the work, everyone who sees it will ridicule him,…

Yet another abortion loving leftist, trying to tell Christians what they should think. This is getting beyond tiresome. Even Satan knows when to fall back, and when to tell the truth. Too bad his mortal minions don't understand the concept.

Back when Emma Lazarus wrote those words the United States had not become the welfare state that it is now. A big spending welfare state simply cannot have open borders.

#10, you may have missed Joe Scarborough's finger-wagging lecture to religious conservatives about a year or so ago. Equally inane and repulsive.

Actually, the enemies of Christ were a lot like the enemies of Pres. Trump (no, not saying Trump is "Christlike" but just has this in common): The enemies of Christ were trying to find something to accuse Him of (Luke 11:53 - 54). They just needed a Mueller to coordinate, I guess. Anyway, if Pres. Trump's enemies can find a way to "crucify" him, they will!!

Firstly, questions for Ms. Rye and everyone else (including Republicans) professing to being people of faith who revere Scripture, why hate President Trump, attempt to destroy him, besmirch him?
= 1 John 3:15 – “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.”
= Romans 13:1-2 – Submission to Authorities – “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.”
= Eighth Commandment – “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.”
= Luke 6:37 – “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;”
And by what authority do these people judge him?
= 2 Corinthians 5:10 – “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.”

Why disobey what God has instituted? God selects heads of nations.
= Haggai 2:20-23; 1 Chronicles 14:2; Daniel 2:21, 4:17; Romans 13:1-2; Revelation 1:4-5
Perhaps it is appropriate to suggest that the people who hate President Trump self-examine their spiritual life.
= James 1:22-24 — "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."
God will not be mocked.
= Proverbs 22:8 – “Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of his fury will fail.” (The unjust will be unable to inflict punishment on those whom they seek to harm.)
As for the accusation that “nothing about Christ’s words align with President Trump,” elucidate them so “evangelicals” can compare them with the contempt, destruction, jealousy, mendacity, ridicule and vengeance of his accusers. President Trump is devoid of such reprehensible behavior.

I don't listen to Satan if I want to learn something about Jesus. Why would I listen to CNN about Trump?
