The Justice Department has decided against prosecuting former FBI Director James Comey for leaking classified information following a referral from the department’s inspector general, sources familiar with the deliberations told Fox News.
“Everyone at the DOJ involved in the decision said it wasn’t a close call,” one official said. “They all thought this could not be prosecuted.” Comey penned memos memorializing his interactions with President Trump in the days leading up to his firing. He then passed those documents to a friend, Columbia University Law Professor Daniel Richman, who gave them to The New York Times. Comey admitted to that arrangement during congressional testimony.

This "not exonerated" thing is catching on. More to the point, though, I doubt this is the end for Comey.

But in seven Comey memos handed over to Congress in April 2018, eight of the 15 pages had redactions under classified exceptions.
If Comey's memos were not classified, and only "Confidential" then we need an explanation.

Fitting that on the same afternoon that the Republican controlled Senate passed a budget with a $1.1 trillion deficit, a budget Trump will happily sign, Trump’s DoJ goes all Comey to protect Comey. Plus, not indicting Comey means that Obama and his thugs in the WH who Comey acted on behalf of escape prosecution. Shameful announcement.
Presidents may change, but the Swamp never does. Hillary and Lois Lerner are surely laughing at us for believing it would.

This 'investigation', while the 'letter agencies' delay and delay in disclosure in every way, will take far more than the 4 plus years of the Trump Presidency...Man, the cesspool is filled and the top has a thick crust on it.
Everywhere one looks: C O R R U P T I O N. "It is up to the PEOPLE to throw off such government". Read that somewhere, but you will NOT find it in any government-supported 'colleges'.
Will it take another CIVIL WAR?

When first I heard this news I was mad as h-e-double-hockeysticks. And then I remembered my own advice following Trump's election: He saved us from Hillary and her gang, so whatever he does, I'll be with him. I have to trust that he is in charge and knows what he (and his people) are doing.

#2, in the DoD of the US, CONFIDENTIAL is a classification, albeit the lowest. From highest to lowest the security classifications are: TOP SECRET, SECRET, and CONFIDENTIAL. There is a quasi-classification called For Official Use Only or, FOUO. Along with the three levels of classifications are descriptors that modify handling/access to the basic security classification, e.g. NOFORN (No Foreign) would prohibit access by foreign viewers. There are others, but these are the basics.

DOJ should not be making statements like this. They should add this charge to the many he is guilty of. If Flynn and Patreaus , well respected generals, aren’t above the law, then neither is Comey or Hillary.

While I would love to believe that Comey will get his, but just for bigger crimes...etc...etc...etc...I'm starting to get that old feeling that none of the "Pigs" will see or hear retribution. It's been too quiet for too long, and even Hannity's late breaking news and promises are ringing hollow....AGAIN.

I know that had I accidentally brought home a Confidential document when I was in the service, I would STILL be making big ones into little ones. I know that because I was told so before being allowed access.
So quit giving me this ..Ooo bigger things ahead garbage and get with it. NEWS FLASH: You can indict people for other things even when they have been charged with something else.
So stop selling us this and get on the job.

Rush is wrong. Barr is a swamp dweller and so is Huber. There will be no prosecutions of any of these fellow swamp dwellers. None. Time to get on with life. Meanwhile Manafort, Cohen and Flynn remain in prison or Flynn still battling the swamp. Must not leave out Roger Stone. Like Bush not completely pardoning Scooter Libby I will never forgive Trump for allowing these men to be treated like dirt by the swampers. Must be more of that "winning" I hear about.

I guess I'll trade an indictment for leaking for an indictment for treason. Anyway, smart prosecutors always try to file for the highest crime -- makes it easier to plead down than to plead up when making a deal. Speaking of deals, I'm thinking US Attorney Durham might have a few Get out of Jail Free cards to those willing to sing (not compose). Line forms on the right. Be prepared to elocute before getting the card.

The only way this can be OK is if Comey will be arrested, indicted, tried and convicted on other, more serious charges.
Comey CANNOT just skate on all the criminality that he has done.. That would be entirely unacceptable.

Honestly, I don’t know what to think. However, if the American people doesn’t see justice done with this seditious cabal, there will be an uprising in this country like you have never seen. We have been told to respect the law and follow the Constitution and here we sit watching a bunch of criminals skate. How can we possibly reconcile what we know and have faith in a system of government that can’t even punish the guilty. Americans will lose whatever faith they had in their government and no amount of good economic news will matter. The democrats attempted to unseat a duly elected President and if they are not punished, many Republicans will stay home on November 3, 2020. What’s the point? They know that nothing ever changes in Washington. The criminals prosper and the people are supposed to just accept that. It’s not going to happen. Not anymore.

Just like I thought Barr will let all corrupt Dems slide. Does Barr remember how badly Mueller treated the republicans? Solitary Confinement, 17 agents, 19 armored vehicles, gas masks, 35 million $$ wasted. Sorry Barr you are One Big disappointment, but I’m not surprised!

I have another take ion this. Perhaps someone has already posted same idea. I believe the DOJ has a lot more to look into regarding this story. I think AG Barr has a basket full of more info on Comey, et al. When he sorts it all out Comey, et al will end up being a homeys in a Fed. Prison. Along with his pals. Needs to remove Mr Wray/Ray, FBI director. One can hope.

The poster child for present-day justice system in America:
The elderly lady - in her late 70's - who will spend
TEN DAYS IN JAIL for FEEDING STRAY CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously, they all have something on someone else,
and that's why they escape punishment.
Obviously, the cat lady had nothing on anyone,
and that's why she's going to jail.
I think I heard that Horowitz is releasing his report in September
of this year.

The "People" are too distracted with selfies, FB, porn, and taking the kids to soccer. The media and their pundits have made Comey into old news ... Comey's got a new book out you know professing his (faux) patriotism so how could he possibly have been connected in any way to an attempted presidential COUP? DOJ has their "deflection field" set at MAX to let Swamp-Comey skate. If the MAIN baddies in this conspiracy are not punished, then America is broken beyond any hope of repair.

I am done hoping. There will be no justice because our rulers have no expectation or desire for it. There is not a darned thing we can do about it and they know it and laugh at us. While we munch popcorn and hope to see good things done, they sip champagne and boink teenagers with no fear whatsoever.
Our experiment in self-government has failed.

Sit tight, it will all unfold. The nature of the long game is it is long. Think of the strategic thinking required to put up a big building in New York. You have be able to see the end and all the steps in between. This presidency is like that, so be calm.
