WASHINGTON - Two Democratic U.S. senators will unveil a bill on Thursday to curb climate change by slapping a fee on oil, natural gas and coal and delivering most of the revenues to low- and middle-income Americans, one of the lawmakers said. Senator Chris Coons said on Wednesday he and Senator Dianne Feinstein will introduce the Climate Action Rebate Act, which aims to generate $2.5 trillion in revenues over 10 years starting in 2020. It would rebate about 70 percent of the money to families that make less than $130,000 per year, and use the rest for energy infrastructure, job

Another wealth redistribution scheme all in the feel good name of saving the planet. This is what we will be getting the day Dems control the House Senate an WH, and more. God save us.

Dems are taxer-spenders. The way to control their excesses is to deny them funding, which is a never-ending battle.

And this from the same people who complained the tariffs are nothing more than a tax on American consumers, but the real reason they don't like the tariffs, is they aren't a targeted tax they are imposing, and were able to squeeze special interests for campaign contributions.
However, there are way more people making under $130,000 who will want something like a rebate that they believe will help them.
Yet, the program will first need a massive build-up of government workers, buildings to be rented, office furniture to be purchased, phones(one personal and one official business), computers, etc.. Only then, will some sort of rebate be "distributed", most likely in form of tax credit and not cash.

During the coverage of the Moon Landing, my local TV station stated the high temperature on that day. It was about 8 degrees warmer than 50 years later. How can that be?

What is the difference between organized crime, and the government? One calls itself a government. This is not governing. It is a hoax to steal money from the public. Coons and Feinstein are criminals perpetuating a hoax ultimately to enrich themselves and their cronies. They shouldn't be in government. They should be in jail.

Let's see increased fees, read that taxes, for everyone on oil, coal, and gas. The poor are impacted at the point of sale immediately with the increases when they pay for heat, gas for their car, and electricity to cool their home then they have to wait for the carbon tax payment back to them at some point in the future. These two Senatorial geniuses are clueless on the negative impacts of when they are proposing they should be tarred and feathered and run out of town for suggesting something so stupid. This is another regressive tax that hurts the poor immediatelyfrom the Democrats.
