A Brazilian immigrant living in Canada was forced to close up her small business after refusing to wax the male genitals of transgender LGBT activist Jessica Yaniv, formerly known as Jonathan Yaniv.
Citing discrimination based on gender identity, Yaniv filed a complaint with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal seeking financial restitution. The activist has filed complaints against 15 other estheticians with the tribunal, claiming “gender identity” discrimination, as well, (Snip) It was not until Wednesday, however, that Yaniv’s identity was allowed to be disclosed.
(Snip) Marcia Da Silva claims that she refused to service the complainant “due to safety

Let's dispense with the nonsensical word "gender."
Gender is a grammatical term - - and ironically - - English is one of the few languages which doesn't use gender.
The proper word is "sex" - - as in "sexual identity" or "sex change" - - or "sex delusion." No more with that stupid word "gender"!

So . . . let's say the business owner in question had gone ahead with the waxing procedure. According to the article, Manzilians require a different kind of wax. Such a business owner would not carry the right sort of wax for male junk; she waxes only women's junk. What if the business owner -- whose business is for women -- went ahead and used the wrong wax?
It would have hurt the bearer of said male junk like bloody, bloody hell; that junk would have burned for days! THEN the women would have been sued for malpractice.
This is nuts! (No pun is intended. LOL)

LOL #6! First of all, I don't think there should be any Protected Classes. I don't care if they are Black, Brown or Freaks, they need to get a grip and take care of themselves. I'm short, should I be protected from Tall people? Why not! I can't see anything when tall people sit or stand in front of me, so that is interfering with my right to see!! How Crazy can we get. And Jeezzze! Did you see the Tranny in this article! Wow, talk about an ugly woman! But I'm betting IT was also one ugly man! Enough of suing people in business if they won't do something that goes against their beliefs. The Butcher, Baker and Candlestick Maker all have a right to own a business and run it the way the want to. Those cases should be thrown out of court! LGBTQXRVU whatever kind of people should open their own business that caters to their weird needs!

Does It still have It's man junk? If so, what if It got sexually excited and Marcia accidently touched It's man junk. Would It then sue for attempted rape or sexual harassment?

Like #6 says, the business owner didn't have the wax nor know the technique for male junk hair removal which considering the extreme sensitivity of the area and thinness of skin would probably be pretty different.
I personally think going ahead with the procedure would have taught that hairy potato shaped bully a lesson!!

So... if a straight man touches a female on the shoulder it is sexual harassment but a homo can demand the same female wax his scrotum. Got it.

Re #10, look again - “male genitals”.
Like most of these disturbed souls, this freak has not had the courage to go the whole way… Dressing up and playing let’s pretend is enough.

I have sympathy for women born into men's bodies. They should be able to surgically change their bodies into women's bodies and live as women. I don't have sympathy for men who say they are really women but who refuse to part with their male reproductive organs. I have a great deal of sympathy for women who are forced to share intimate space with these fully-equipped biological males.

They really, really, want us to hate them. BTW, 'hate crime' legislation is just government thought control, and it's making our divisiveness even worse. We need to rescind ALL 'hate crime' laws! Crime is crime.

The authorities should step up and finally admit that if these people cannot finish the surgeries required and they still have male genitals, they don't have the right yet to be called anything female in nature. And if the authorities would think about it some more, waxing is a painful process as it is on the brows, just imagine doing that to male genitalia. The business owner has every right to be concerned for her safety.

Girl, I would have used HOT wax...his 'genitals' would have been on fire!...Then after the wax cooled I'd have connected a winch...you know, those things that rip things apart...and pushed the button!
Sir Girlie, Done, happy now? By the way my name and business are fake, don't try to find me...

One should not have to close their business because some creep is harassing them in the legal system. Da Silva should demand Yaniv pay all of her legal fees.

Thanks, my fellow Ldotters. Your brilliant humorous Posts helped alleviate the nausea flooding over me from simply reading the title.
I do wonder if the Brazilian woman could have counter-sued for sexual harassment or even sexual assault?
And what if she had used the waxing materials she uses routinely and it caused injury --as #6 so graphically describes-- would she have been charged with assault?

Ok, but isn’t a Brazilian doing a Brazilian like a double negative? LOL. A Manzillian? Oh dear. I have never, at the age of 54, had a desire to expose my privates to a stranger for any reason. It creeps me out. I take care of my personal grooming needs, thanks. This ‘thing’ is a sad, unhappy mental case suing everyone for no good reason. Disgusting. Canada is lost and we’re next...vote accordingly.

What makes us look ? While reading the article, all I could think of was the man who became outraged because his wife was cheating and cut the other man's member off with scissors and ran with it. Wonder if he is out of jail and needs a job?
Don't patrons sign a disclaimer before the procedure? She should have let her husband pour the hot wax. If he is suing anyway. Just saying.
