In its quest to make America Venezuela, the left is coming for your toilet paper.
Kimberley Strassel spotted this beaut on Twitter:
Apparently toilet paper is the new plastic straw of the green lobby, and they're out to put a stop to it. Kid you not, here is what the National Resources Defense Council is shilling as its new narrative:
You may not realize it, but the toilet paper in your bathroom likely comes from some of the most important—and threatened—forests in the world. In fact, Procter & Gamble is driving the devastation

Well, you could do what Ilhan Omar does (in the time-honored practice of her people)...but then you couldn't shake left-handed with anyone.

The quoted NRDC article even includes the mandatory “we’re running out of time” phrase that is required to be included in all climate change propaganda. Personally, I’d rather run out of time than run out of toilet paper at the wrong time!

I once asked Dem Cheryl Crow (Lance Armstrong's past BGF) if in the interest of saving the planet if she thought all Dems would use both sides of the tp. Typically there was no answer.

Regressive and so third world. When I lived in Ghana, they sold TP on the street. By the role! It was that cheap, rough TP, too. Cost a mini-fortune. Leftists want to have all the good TP for themselves, and we have to live with the crap paper. Oh, and paper straws suck. There's a reason we went from paper straws to plastic, and it's called innovation and progress; making life better. Leftists want us to suffer, so they can live high on the hog ruling and reigning over us. We already hate them, so I'm not sure how they think they'll ever get there and be able to enjoy all that power and wealth. Wait until their useful idiots get woke, too! Conservatives can sit back and watch as the useful idiots tear up the leftists new we-rule world, just like they trained them to tear up ours.

They won't be happy until we are wiping with leaves (make sure it's not Poison Ivy) or dried out corncobs.....or fingers like certain un-named far eastern sects....

Ouch, I just hurt my shoulder patting myself on the back for having predicted long ago that they would intrude to this depth and in this specific area of of our personal lives.
The left has an advantage here because they have been conditioning their backsides by wiping with parchment for years, the constitution.

Ya know....... half of Georgia....literally thousands of square MILES of the state are devoted to growing pine trees for wood, paper and chemicals, i.e turpentine. Pine trees are a cash crop. We dont cut down old growth or hardwoods for TP.
This is example # 896378531 of why liberals and envirowhackos are stupid.
As for hardwood and old growth.... when those trees come down they are pealed into very thin strips called veneer. Veneers are then glued to pine to make your "not" oak furniture look like oak. Houses and furniture is mostly constructed from cash crop pine.

Perfect, #13! I see these trucks hauling tree trunks to the paper mill, and cheer them on, just as I do the oils cars on trains and used to, the coal trains from where we used to live.
It’s commerce, it’s capitalism, it’s America!

Anybody who has ever been in the military may be familiar with government issue toilet paper we had to use. Each barracks room - our Army rooms housed three soldiers each — was issued one roll per week. The contract for the TP was issued to the low bidder, so you can imagine the quality. If you looked close enough you could see the wood fibers in the paper, almost like pressed plywood. That’s what we can look forward to in our upcoming Socialist Utopia.

There is no group of people on earth that is more ignorant, stupid, dumb and ridiculous than the green movement. Do they not realize how many people have tree farms that grow trees specifically for the paper products industry? They don't get their paper from the old growth forests much anymore. They get their supplies from tree farmers. Trees are RENEWABLE. They are not something that will ever run out. These people are responsible for the plastic bag industry starting up back in the day. Get them to admit to that? Not a chance.

Oh man! Now I have to start stock piling Big Packs of Toilet Paper! Not sure if I have enough storage room for that. I have enough Light Bulbs to last until I die, but they don't take up much room. Not sure about T Paper! One thing if for sure, I'm not giving up my favorite. I don't care what they say. Now I'm off to Publix. T. Paper is on sale this week!!

trees are a renewable resource. there is no reason to ban TP maybe the left thinks we should all be like the homeless, now known as urban campers.

And we don't even have the Sears catalog anymore. Guess we'll all need to move to San Fran where we just take our dump on the sidewalk.
