“Yes, yes! Speak truth to power!” Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) enthusiastically agreed when left-wing activist David Hogg declared that rich people are “the problem” in America, but are using “racism and xenophobia to convince poor people” that they’re not. And in a related story... Researchers at Johns Hopkins University announce they have found the cure for cancer. 'The answer was right under our noses the entire time', stated lead researcher, Nels Fenordner. 'Were it not for the healthy people who do NOT get cancer we would likely not even pay much attention to the disease. Our solution is to inject all the healthy with a compound that will level the playing field by causing cancer. After a generation or two, cancer will no longer be a problem for any individual because all will get it by age 40'.

Racism is a serious subject, but if we are told it is everywhere and everyplace, it looses its seriousness because we know it is not true. And if we are told that everyone and everybody is a racist, we just tune that out too because we know that is not true either.

This is funny. The problem with socialists/communists is that they quickly run out of Other People's Money, and this limits their fantasy nirvana moves. And yet they are so astoundingly stupid that they see "rich people" as a problem. Letists are purveyors of untruth, and profoundly unable to grasp even the simplest actual economic facts.

We are created equal but we sure as hell don't stay equal. Some of us grow to become motivated, innovative and create things. Some of us add value in the process by contributing to the former. Some of us would prefer to come along for the free ride on the backs of both of the aforementioned. The dirty little secret that is laying right in front of our faces in history, is that the creators won't create if what they create is taken from them. No matter how badly the communists wish it to be otherwise, no matter how jealous people can be, the inescapable truth is that you can't have it. Your attempts to take it will break it. The rich will let you have some, but ultimately its up to them how much, not anyone else. Their collective reaction to being overruled is reflected by the Laffer curve. Unless somebody can explain why we should expect a different outcome from historical patterns, we know all we can squeeze out of our producers for any length of time is about 17%. Squeezing harder results in 17% of less. Squeezing less hard from where we are now results in 17% of more. If you want to do good things for needy people you would squeeze less, not more. If all you care about is your slice and personally you can get more by making virtually all others have less you can do so. That is what our democrat party is all about. More for me, less for the rich, less for the middle class and less for the poor.
