House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) explained at her press conference on Wednesday what she believes America is about.“The president wants to make America great again. We all do,” she said.“What does that mean? What is America?” she asked. “So many times we’ve come together and we’ve talked about America.”Pelosi then went on to answer her own question. Below is an excerpt from the transcript of her press conference where Pelosi explains her understanding of America: (Video) So, it is – let’s just take it to a better place. Let’s take it to a better place: America. The president wants to make America great again. We all do.

If Pelosi has to ask, what is America? After all her years in Congress, she has a big problem!

This hag has, on record, insulted the president on the House floor in violation of House Rules. Trump should decline to meet or speak to her until she publicly appoligized and expunges her commmits from the Congressiona record. She is elected by her district but elected by the House into the leadership position. She should honor her duties as that leader, not engage in school yard insults. Trump should say he can't and won't work with her. Let her know she doesn't have to the votes to override a veto and to sit out the next year and a half as the do nothing SINO (Speaker in Name Only).

Making America great, Nancy, means removing all the obstacles put in place by the Democrats over the years, starting with Woodrow Wilson. Every single change to the federal gvt, everything that makes it bigger and supercedes the rights of the states is what KEEPS America from becoming GREATER.

So much for the oath of office! This is unconscionable and outrageous to hear from the Speak of the House! Congress is hopelessly derailed.

All depends on the meaning of what “is” is. She can get more on that from Bill Clinton since he’s the word smith and linguistics expert.

Does the speaker want to make all of the United States be like the same s... hole, like she and her followers have made in the great state of California?
The state is still very beautiful but I have tears in my eyes when I see what elected leaders have done with pc visions.

That was a very strange experience. I had a flashback to kindergarten when the teacher was explaining the importance of the Pledge of Allegiance, sans the demented smile. Someone should tell her that the American people are not her great grandchildren listening to bedtime stories. Her handlers must have given the instruction to appear "friendly" after the impression made by the Mad Squad and her own mad dash from the House floor. Its the only reason for the forced show of her dentures and phony air of casualness. Another observation cleared up why her face has always seemed so weird to me: her eyes have become so sunken that her upper eye sockets look like a second set of eyebrows.
Other than that, I have to give her credit for her equestrian skills. She really knows how to beat a dead horse.

Then don't be sore losers. You have been trying to covet his campaign win endlessly since being elected. No, Nancy, you and your party are truly the divisive ones.

Great again? Maybe it would be nice to return to a time when we remembered how exceptional this country is. How great George Washington was..and thousands of other great Americans while we're at it. How inventive, creative, dynamic and republican the people were (and still are) and how revolutionary that was. Maybe it would be nice to be in a country where one is free to do something... without having to take out a permit first. Great again would be ending the heckler's veto. Actually being able to speak freely. Letting people celebrate, really celebrate, their faith. And values. As opposed to government values. Great again would be to promote ideas based on historic fact or science instead of political correctness. Great again would be to acknowledge that we were right to welcome back, with amity, our rebellious countrymen after the Civil War... that service on either side was service and to acknowledge that the war was over.
