Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., NY) said on Wednesday nobody is "heartbroken" by the prospect of losing their private health insurance if Medicare for All were to be implemented. Her comments were first reported by Bloomberg's Sahil Kapur."@AOC, asked about warnings from Joe Biden on Medicare for All, says nobody is ‘heartbroken' at the idea of losing private insurance. ‘People like their health care, they like their doctor,' she says. ‘But I’d be interested in what the public polling on Aetna would look like,'" Kapur tweeted.

It is scary that people in her bar where she apparently tried out this idea, don't understand basic math.

Send her a message if you want to keep your insurance and would be broken hearted at losing it after working hard for it all your life.

I don't understand why any articles are printed about her statements. She constantly issues statements that have nothing to do with reality and are only for media space time. If she is as dumb as her statements indicate, she should go back to kindergarden and start over. My thought is that she is simply ACTING stupid.

AOC is the best thing that ever happened to the GOP. She is a never ending source of campaign material. And she's too stupid, arrogant, self righteous and sure of her convictions to grasp that. Well grasp anything except your wallet.

Yet another example of why she wasn’t allowed to be the cashier in the taco restaurant she was waitressing at just 12 months ago,

She is correct. We would not be "heartbroken". We would be outraged; we would be furious; we would be organizing to run the commies out of Washington; we would be stockpiling tar and feathers.

Wow, this dingbat is really stepping in it now. Receiving a fat paycheck for doing nothing and enjoying the Cadillac medical care provided to members of Congress is making her feel like the French Aristocracy did around 1789. Her head will surely come off with this one. (Figuratively of course)

(I did not come up with this, but it's spot on, and bears repeating.)

Here level of stupidity, ignorance and her total disconnect from the reality of normal working Americans is unlimited.
She seems quite likely to be replaced next year with someone who at least resides on Planet Earth.

I suspect that AOC has never bought health insurance, nor even had any, unless it was provided by an employer. She is certainly no authority on health care (except maybe free abortions!) Now she has a Cadillac plan, courtesy of taxpayers, which she would retain after the rest of us were subjected to a health program run by bureaucrats! The DMV of healthcare!

I wonder what she thinks about the Europeans who pay about $20,000 in taxes for "free" healthcare yet still purchase their own insurance and direct health services? Does that tell you anything toots?

I know people who work full time jobs just to get the health insurance. They could get by with an array of gigs otherwise. If that is taken away, it will undermine an incentive to seek-out good employment.

It's critical that what these people say is exposed to ALL Americans. We could never say enough against them that their own words haven't already exposed.

I would be heartbroken for the unemployed private health insurance employees. The socialists are determined to needlessly eliminate thousands of jobs.

Nobody except Federal government employees (including members of Congress), state and local government workers, union members, people employed by large corporations or law firms, and others, all of whom have excellent benefits under their private insurance policies that they would not have under Medicare. Medicare only reimburses at 80%, has no stop-loss, has big deductibles, no family coverage and offers such low reimbursements that more and more doctors are refusing to take it. It would be a disaster for the entire health-care industry to impose this on everyone.

Shows how much you know, C. PDT shortened her name down to Cortez. I'm anxious to see her gone, so I've put her all the way at C. Pretty soon, she'll be .

She is too stupid to talk to. If We stopped paying for her coverage, she would be even more vocal. She knows nothing about insurance or history.
They all try to influence lemmings.
