For president, George Will comes out for Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colo.), the lefty who's progressive but not crazy. Personally, Bennet's announcement was the first I've ever heard of the guy, and it's jarring that Will, for no other apparent reason than Trump animus, is now beating drums for Democrats. He was once well thought of by Republicans. Will has revealed himself to be another small-minded little man of big words. That's what the Left always loved about him. Like Adlai Stevenson, he sounded smart and well read and went to the best schools and conducted himself with appropriate arrogance,

Frankly Scarlett, I always figured him for a wussy. He should get a passport and go visit real America.

Will has rendered himself irrelevant amongst the internet and media avalanche of anti-Republican hysteria and propaganda. Today we are engaged in mortal combat over the soul of the nation. A political water boy, he never really understood the visceral aspect of politics, just the pom-poms. The game is over Mr. Will, you missed the press conference.

Michael Bennet is one of my US Senators. He was appointed to the position when 0bama named the doofus Ken Salazar to his cabinet and limped to re-election twice against weak Republican candidates (we've become a blue state with so many California transplants). I've sent Bennet messages urging reasonable action a few times each year. He always does the exact opposite, always, always, sidling the conventional Democrat "wisdom". He's not a consensus builder, he's a soft spoke, far-left tool. Nice job, Will.

People like George Will and Bill Kristol are part of the bygone era of Republican politics when they were the king makers. They treated normal Americans of all races the same way Democrats treat minorities. We are only useful when we vote the way they tell us to. Other than that we are all deplorable. And then there was Trump.

GW is a Bush-era Republican ... he may be a registered Republican but like George Bush, he is certainly no way conservative.

If I recall correctly, George Will made a lot of sense..... 40 years ago.
Somehow, over the years all the wisdom trickled away and he has drifted off into the land of those who claim to be conservative, but work to promote the leftist 'Rat agenda.

It happened long ago. We just humored him for a while, but when he got TDS, we stopped humoring this idiot.

These Never Trumpers seem like aristocrats in their collapsing world as WWI raged, complaining about the silver not being polished. Useless bores.

Sorry to second post but the essence here of Will’s and other NeverTrumpers’ hate is that we moved away from them - the staid politicians and commentators, willing to talk forever but not actually do. We embraced Trump’s action and rejected them and the Romneys, Ryans, Wills, Kristols, and all can not abide the rejection. Hence, their hate. No matter how awful the Democrats are, they will only focus on and hate Trump more.

To use a baseball analogy, (seeing as George is so fond of the sport), He sits in an enclosed Premium box seat, sipping wine and dining on caviar, whileJo Six-Pack watches the same game from the nose bleed seats, high up in the bleachers, with a plastic cup of warm beer in one hand, and a cold hotdog in the other.
In other words, I do not take advice from D.C. Political Dilletants.
