ABC host George Stephanopoulos said he regrets dining with Jeffrey Epstein about a year after the accused sex trafficker finished his first stint in jail for pleading guilty to soliciting an underage prostitute.“That dinner was the first and last time I’ve seen him,” Stephanopoulos said in an email to The New York Times. “I should have done more due diligence. It was a mistake to go.”Epstein hosted Stephanopoulos and a slew of other media insiders — including news anchors Katie Couric and Charlie Rose, comedian Chelsea Handler and director Woody Allen — at his Manhattan townhome in December 2010 for a chance to meet Prince Andrew,

Due diligence? Really George? What you hadn't read a paper in 20 yrs? Maybe so, but Woody being on the guest list should have given you a clue, but then hey you and your crowd liked Harvey too and were at more than one dinner with that man right? Please don't try the " I know nothing" routine on us, George, everyone knew, just like everyone knew about Harvey. Your party is a party of pervs and human traffickers, and has been since Clinton was in office and the Chinese were bringing in bags of money right into the oval office past your desk, as I recall. But then I seem to have a better memory than most of the pot smokers in your circle. Lay off the weed George and maybe your judgement will improve along with your memory.

Any Republican or any conservative would not be allowed to claim "more due diligence" or "a mistake to go." Double standard, anyone?

You dine with those who you feel comfortable and compatible. It's those, "birds of a feather", kind of thing.

What a diminutive gnome, in both stature and intellect. The perfect leftist creature next to Robert Reich.

Or from and OLD musical which I can probably identify but won't just now …
There was a song about a drunk sleeping in a gutter with a pig. along comes the contralto singing …
You can tell a man who boozes
by the company he chooses
And the pig got up and slowly walked away.
These guys ain't walking, they're running.

George did get caught. He's coming out with it first so it's no shock when it comes out of the little black book.

Now why would a bigshot rich guy Jeff Epstein want to sit down and have
dinner with a pipsqueak like Stephie? Was Chris Wallace already busy?

So . . . how could such a news-savvy person like Stephanopoulos not know about the dirt swirling around Epstein? The prostitute thing is bad enough, but he pleaded guilty to soliciting an UNDERAGE prostitute. I don't understand how all these celebs could not know better and exercise better judgement.
Of course, Charlie Rose has his own problem with women. And Chelsea Handler is not a pinnacle of virtue by any stretch of the imagination. And she's not funny -- which is almost worse! LOL But Katie Couric -- the woman who broadcast her colon all over television? . . . Goes to show you she's full of stool (FOS).

Far as I am concerned, all the media is just as culpable as Epstein. They knew all about this, have protected the players, have enabled the players. How many children have they themselves helped to ruin thanks to them not blowing the whistle and doing the right thing? The media is just as dirty as Epstein, but worse. For they stood by, and are standing by, being silent as the grave.
