Rep. Devin Nunes said Republicans plan to grill former special counsel Robert Mueller about his top prosecutor when he testifies in an open setting later this month.
Andrew Weissmann, who was known as Mueller's "pitbull," will be the subject of multiple lines of inquiry, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee told Fox News' Bill Hemmer on an episode of the "Hemmer Time" podcast.
In a preview of what he and his GOP colleagues will ask on July 24, Nunes said Mueller will be pressed on why the FBI withheld from his panel that Weissmann briefed Associated Press reporters in 2017 on "something to do with the Trump-Russia investigation"
Over $25 million dollars spent on Mueller's report and because they didn't like the results, won't let it go. With Democrats doing the investigation, they still couldn't find any "collusion". Like Idina Menzel sang in Frozen "Let it go"

Mueller should have never agreed to this "testimony". And, apparently, he is having second thoughts about it, postponing it a week to further get his answers lined up, since, no doubt, he does not have the questions in his lap from the Republicans. He already knows the Democrat questions will try leading him to condemn his very own report. Talk about a perjury trap, right? Democrats are dangerous to Mueller simply because of their inept agenda-driven motivations. They want certain answers and if they do not get them, they will try drilling down until they do. But, the Republicans are out for blood. They know the soft places in Mueller's whole BS game and they intend to punch at them. Mueller will end up looking like an idiot- "I can not answer that." will be his stock answer. As a lawyer, Mueller will know he must answer with the fewest words possible. If he is caught lying under oath, if they put him under it, he goes down as just another stupid flake that tried to get Trump (which we already know he is) but, the Left is going to find it out for themselves.

While you are at it, grill him about his response to the Florida investigators who asked for FBI help with Epstein when he was the head of the FBI.

Perhaps they can get Mueller in a perjury trap. You can bet that Nunes and other Republicans already know the answers to key questions. Wouldn't that be something?

Since, odds are he didn't write the report himself (his crooked buddy Not-such-a-Weissman did), he doesn't know many of the answers--plausible deniability. But the questions about why he assembled this panel of fools on his team he must answer. My guess, he was just the "all about integrity" (snark) figurehead behind which the democrat machine (Clintons) procured their own legal bulldozer to mow down our President. Mueller is a well paid pawn--but I'm guessing he's thinking not paid enough to have his name dragged through the Clinton pigsty.
We'll see if the bipartisan establishment will let any of the real stuff ever see the light of day. My guess is that the threat of every skeleton in anyone's closet being revealed will keep much hidden.
Let's pray the old saying, "Where there's a will, there's a way" will prevail.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! Weissman should be in jail and his law license (what a joke!) should be revoked.

These hearings are all about extending the "Dump Trump" meme through the summer. There will be no attempt to "get to the truth" because Nunes and the others already know the truth. The whole "Collusion Hoax" was a product of the Deep State and fully supported by the Uniparty to protect all their rice bowls from the outsider. After the '18 elections, in which the GOPe ceded the House majority to Dems, the idea was to impeach PDT, or give him the Nixon treatment by elder Republican statesmen McConnell and McCarthy. The Dems failed to impeach for various reasons, and now the public momentum is spent.
Plan B is to make PDT politically radioactive while inducing public fatigue in his trials and tribulations. Does anyone not understand the flow of this "Dump Trump" continuum, with the recent rape charge, Epstein "connections", Iran "indecision", Paul Ryan's remarks, and down the list? And you ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until after Labor Day. These "hearings" are to provide more grist to the mill, while allowing Republicans to appear looking out for PDT and engaged in mortal combat.
Meanwhile, Mitt is in the wings waiting for his cue.
