Posters featuring Women's World Cup star Megan Rapinoe were defaced, with slurs written on them, and police in New York City said they are investigating the action as a hate crime, according to multiple reports. The vandalized Nike posters were found inside the Bryant Park subway station in midtown Manhattan. At least six posters were vandalized, although images of the graffiti have not been made public by the MTA or NYPD. 'Hate has no place in the transit system and we work hard to make the subway a welcoming, safe environment for everyone,' read a statement from the MTA.

I wonder why posters showing Rapinoe were not respected. Could Rapinoe's disrespectful comments and actions have ant relationship?
Respect is earned. Rapinoe did a lot to show she does not deserve respect.

Vandalizing posters, a hate crime. Vandalizing and "legally" tearing down monuments, not so much. American leftists have gone ape-nut crazy!

"Hate has no place in the transit system" said New York's transit authority?
After driving a few times in NYC and taking a few trips on the subway, it was my impression that hate must be required to use any part of their transit system.

They must be kidding!!!! Since when is defacing a poster a hate crime. Hey, NYPD, nothing better to do than this garbage???? How about checking up on Epstein??? The subway a 'welcoming, safe environment for everyone'?????? MTA, are you all on drugs or you were never, ever checked for brains! These never on time, filthy dirty, unsafe boxes of human sweating cargo that you ferry about are welcoming??
Defacing graffiti and other posters have always existed since NYC began and suddenly this lefty spewing lesbian is the new gold standard??? Who knew!!!

More likely a deranged lefty, probably of the rainbow type, did it to stir up trouble. I call fake ‘hate crime’ on this one, just like all the rest.

Ooooh! They vandalized her posters. Oh the humanity! An unforgivable hate crime. I for one am tired of this. Rapinoe is a foul mouthed hate monger. And with apologies to some of her teammates, I do not see this lesbian call girl ring as worthy of adulation. Hasn't anyone yet figured out that there is a reason no one watches professional women's sports? They just don't represent the 99% of the rest of us.

What a sissy!
Hate crimes in New York City are up 64 percent this year No wonder . If everything is a hate crime, nothing is a hate crime. Commenting on a poster is a hate crime, but Antifa beating up a gay Asian reporter is swept under the rug. Not to mention the signs these lefty a$$hats carry.

She has chosen to become political. If it is legal to burn a flag it should be considered political speech to deface the image of a commie traitor like Ms. Rapinoe.
It is also odd that scruffy miscreants of color are called graffiti "artists" but anyone who defaces a photo of a left-wing icon is called a hate criminal.

Hate crime for vandalizing a poster? Sounds like North Korea arresting Otto Warmbier for stealing a poster. This PC garbage is definitely getting out of hand.

So, when are they going to start investigations on all the attacks against Trump and his supporters? Graffiti in the Subway doesn't make for a hate crime. Shocking that there are still decent people in NYC who actually don't like the nasty harpy who plays soccer. Not a hate crime guys.

It is OK for her to hate the flag, the country and Pres. Trump, and for her to spout obscenities at every opportunity, but no one can criticize or touch a photo of her in the NY subway? She likes to dish it out, so she has to take it once in a while, too. We don't like you, Megan, and the constant attempts by the media are failing. Please go away ASAP, you hater who calls everyone what you are yourself.

I burned my third grade class picture today because despite its sentimental value I inked out teeth, drew a goatee and glasses and stuck pins through Christine Scott’s image back in 1962 and I don’t particularly want to do hard time. But she did deserve it. I was the only girl in our class not invited to her birthday party because she “ran out of invitations.” Yeah, sure. Like I believe that instead of her being sore because both of us had crushes on Mark Mulcahy (who was super cute) and him giving me a fake pearl bracelet for Christmas that year and then giving her nothing. Well, he probably liked me betterbecause she was taller than him and everyone else in our class and had big ears. So I called her “Bullwinkle” and it made everyone laugh. Did I make all of that up? You‘ll never really know now because there is no longer any evidence. But I wonder if she still has a copy of the same class picture. I wonder what I look like in her copy...I’m calling the cops! I’ve never felt so hated in all my life.
